well Ive suggested couple of times, that I'm free on the weekend... but no1 gives a thumbs up on if they would like to get together.

 

why dont you guys hit up the taco cabana on montwood and joe battle on Wednesday nights

 

DSEA and i where there the other week, how about we plan a meet for Wednesday and all roll there together and have a all of us park next to each other over at taco cabana?

 

There is an impromptu rotary gathering at Taco Tote next to Bassett tomorrow, Sunday at 2pm.

As you guys know we are a minortiy here in EP so getting together w/ other rotary heads can be a good thing. I am not the point of contact for this meet, just passing on the info givin to me.


Also, trying to arrange for the one and only Steve Kan to come to EP in October to tune a couple of RX7's if anyone here would be interested. I have the info of the person arranging Steve to come down so just pm me if you are serious about a tune.

For those of you who dont know, there arent many rotary tuners around w/ the knowledge and experience that Steve Kan has. Best of the Best.

Next meet that gets arranged will definantly have at least a week advance notice if not more. Rx8's are the majority in el paso compared to us Rx-7's; so help make the next meet a larger rotary gathering.

WOW! We got a little chatter going on. I'm glad to hear the rotary guys are trying to do a little something. Sounds good, too bad I'll be in San Antonio for the next month and half, I'll definitely try to catch up when I get back.

 

No worries. I didnt expect to many 8's to show up under such short notice. Thanks for the pm and now we can be in contact for a rotary gathering. I guess you'll bring some of the 8's and I'll be the liason for the 7's.

Next, next meet when you're back in town we'd be glad to have you. I didnt really want to be the one to try and get things going for a meet, but its turning out that way on my end w/ some of the FC's, FB's, FA's and our lonely RX-4.

We (Rx7's etc. . .) are a very very small niche in El Paso compared to you guys (Rx8's), so getting us all together would be an awesome thing to happen.

I actually just bought my FD not to long ago. The car was built by and will soon be tuned by Steve Kan. Its got a full street port along w/ a Power FC and ACT Clutch. All the reliability mods have also been done. Hoping for mid 300''s, nothing to crazy. Would rather have a very reliable street car rather than a high horsepower nightmare.

Plus, 300+hp in a 2800 pound car is more than enough for me at the moment. Anyways, hope you guys have some room in here for a non 8 owner.

Well, the next meet is going on next weekend; and the first Sunday of every month after that.

Date: Sunday October 3rd
Time: 2pm
Location: Taco Tote across from Bassett

This invite is open to all rotary owners. So bring out those rx8's and help make the meet a decent size. A cruise is in the works as well after the meet. So fill up a bit and we'll see you guys there.

 

I thought some rotarians would be at the meet. I was at the taco b. (joe battle/montwood) meet last wednesday night... no freakin 1 showed up! Who is down for this coming wednesday night? What happened dude......., I was at TC lastnight... and I didn't see you there. Only 1 random blue 8 showed up.

I went to the meet as a last minute thing w/ a friend and his red mkiv supra. We parked at the chase bank lot. I didnt say any rx8's there .

Ill be there to today's meet that is at 2pm. @ LUVFD... I was there around 9:30pm or so dude... and I cruised around twice around the parkin lot (Chase and target area), that is when I arrived... there, chilled for 45 mins and made another round before I left, I didn't see no1 so I left.
