oh and they upgraded the warranty on the tranny to 5 and 60k right? Everything i have learned about anything on this car i have had to research. I think when i get her back she needs a deep sound exhaust, and a radio upgrade...any suggestions on those two?

how? obviously Mazda didnt do it... because i asked and they said no... only remanufactured 4-ports because it goes with the 4-speed transmission... she get a whole new tranny with a 6-speed???

no they used the old transmission. they told her when she picked up the car she now has the 08 6port motor

lol i call bs, ive asked why they dont add a 6-port before and thats because of the transmission... lets ask Brian about this... and as for me info ill post the link to my source...

ahh yeah i know that she got a 4-port because they'd have to change around the fuel trims and fuel injectors and all that ****, adjust the pcm or ecu all that **** so im positive it had to be a 4-port

it might just be a 4 port but i dunno i cant split the motor open and find out

they will not and can not upgrade a 4 port to a 6 port.... you can do it but mazda is not going too..... never..... ever..... you can tell if it is a 4 port by the lack of the two seperate intake runners on the upper intake manifold... only 6 ports have them...

yes it would require a new harness and pcm as well as all the 6 port specific **** that goes on a motor.

i'm gonna spend most of tomorrow getting the fuel tank back in the 7. hopefully i rebuilt the carb correctly and it should be running by tomorrow. but yeah i'd be down for going to your place. friday would be better depending on how the 7 goes.

friday is good but i won't even be here monday.... gotta go back to Louisiana that day... speaking of monday who wants to leave my house at 2AM with me and drive 5 hrs and then 5 hrs back and get back late monday..... i was going to do it by myself , but a spirited.... loud music loving co-driver sure would help me stay awake... road trip anyone?

saturday morning is fine but what are you doing saturday afternoon.....i'm not saying that it will take a long time but if u break something u need to plan for that......and yes if "you" break something cause if anyone breaks anything it would be u....ha ha the only thing i have sat night is et's party if my mouth isn't to swollen
