Wow...our DFW cruises are nothing compared to our Kerrville runs! These are just little warm-ups.

Nah dude we gotta make this cruise worth it. We got some fellas from Oklahoma coming. Im thinking the length of the august cruise or longer for this cruise. We don't want the cruise to be too short.

Well this sucks, sounds like a cool meet. To bad I still can't drive, and I haven't gotten a new car yet. Hope you guys have a good meet though.

So after the long ardouious task of replacing the struts and getting the rear re aligned I am now back up to confidence in my car, and ready to drive it like I stole it on the 24th. Course now I'm starting to think I need new breaks...

In any case, I've got two decent walkies that I will bring as well as my camera (which will have its 120gig drive fully emptied this time)

Jim, did you figure out where you are staying?

if your brakes wear out... just open your door and slide your shoe on the ground to act as a brake... if it works on a bicycle... it should work on a car

I know they are fine, I was talking about an upgrade, aka more awesome brakes. Like when I press them I want to stop so hard the air bags deploy

well heres the logic behind brakes:P if you lock the wheel up, which we can, you can't stop any harder than that. once your tires slide you have exceeded your tires traction and braking capability.

Why the change of heart? When I asked about this a month or two ago in this thread, you replied:

Or there was this statement:

Glad someone else in this thread had this opinion besides myself and one other.
And lastly...

So which is it Thomas? Are upgraded brakes worth it or not? Because you were all about it being a waste of money and not helping the car at all when I asked, but now you want them?!

Yes, I know, in order to stop as hard as I was implying I'd need to have steal (thats for you nick) spikes come from the frame and embed into the ground or hit a wall. or another vehicle. *sigh* I need to work on my jokes cuse the smiley faces at the end of my posts dont seem to be cutting it anymore
