Now that's dedication. Let that be an example to all the slackers out there missing out on this cruise!

I have to miss its funny that my boss has an 8 but doesn't understand why I would want to go on a cruise instead of working...

I told you to call in sick, and not give away your true wants. All you had to do was say that you got your flu shot, and the next day you felt horrid.

so is the plan to meet at Tx Roadhouse at 1, then eat for 2 hrs.? If so I'm not going to come. If we are meeting there and starting a drive then I'll be there for an hour...

plans im sure will change based on how long it takes people to show up and eat and converse. I plan to eat but I can put down a meal in 30min or less. Its really just up to how things would flow is my guess. Some people might show up early, some might show up late. I doubt this could actually flow with a time plan efficiently lol.

if you dont want to eat at all show up at 2. or try to guess around a drive time.

Either I'm skipping the cruise, , or leaving early, also ....
Just bring the photographer with you. We can make some stops for pictures.

Thanks indeed. Those look like some awesome pics. Any chance I could get them in all in a zip file? I can provide an ftp if needed.

On another note I will be posting the footage on the NTX site, but its going to take me awhile because 1. I recorded over 30 gigs worth due to the duration. Not all of it is great either due to the rain which caused issues with the autofocus. 2. Its going to take me awhile to even get the compressed files uploaded at 10x compression. (3.5-4gigs for each of the three files). Currently compressing the first of three. I may even put what footage I have of the august run we did just in case anyone wants it.

not at all, im running michelin sport a/s plus. I can't speak for everyone but I was keeping a lot of distance between me and the guy in front of me so I could take the corners harder and faster without worrying about the guy in front of me braking.

There are over 250 photos, those 30 or so are just the first ones to be cleaned up. Of course over 100 of them were lost due to windshield wiper blades, or water debris covering the wind shield, or a bad focus lol. I'm still working on about another 25 of them.

btw if you click zoom in then you can get the full sized photo the photobucket allows.

the second photo is what adobe did when I had it do an auto image adjustment. Hence its one of the only photos without clouds. Look at the road in the second image and you can see cloud shadow on the ground but no clouds. I believe it was trying to cover up all the mist, but you can almost not see the clouds in the lighter picture just a hint of them. On a second note for those who love banners here is one with all the cars from the steak house.

Check the photos if you have saved any. I have updated about 5 of them. Some of them like the photo with the dark clouds above I reverse edited. The photo with the clouds was edited on the nikon camera, the one without the clouds adobe decided the mist would be less obtrusive if it changed the sky. On 3 of them I have been able to edit out a vehicle so it looks like there are only 8's on the road. A couple of them I have instead of using the adobe edited photo, I used the nikon software built into the camera to adjust the lighting. A couple of the photos in cleaning them up I had to upload back to the camera because adobe makes them to bright, or makes one portion of them unrealistically bright compared to other areas of the photos. Double check what you have saved to see if your photo was updated or corrected again. I will probably be doing this over and over, and adding photos one at a time as well.

Also some of them won't be the full photograph. I will post an example below of one that had to be cropped out because 90% of the photo was windshield covered in water and debris.

There is also a banner thread here with two options for banners one of them with and one without the miata in it.
