I'm new to the site and am looking for a shop in the plano/dallas area for some custom jobs IE: custom exaust, minor engine mods, etc. I live in the uptown area but willing to drive anywhere in the metroplex for somewhere good.

 

I'm not too familiar of great body shops, but Jenkins and Dazygirl can probably point you in the right direction.

If you are putting engine/performance mods on... than i suggest calling Northhaven Auto, and ask for Peter. They're located in North Dallas, off of 75 and Forest Lane. They did my turbo kit, springs, shocks, exhaust, and midpipe. The thing that seperates them from most other shops is that they actually care and have a passion for it, most of the time they will be cheaper than the competitors, and they also have extensive experience with rotarys.

thanks! i'll look into that one. have you heard of/dealt with rotary performance (www.rx7.com)? seems like they'd be a good place b/c they only deal with rotary engines, but i drove by their shop and it was pretty shotty looking. thanks again for your help. i'm sure we'll talk soon.

 

RP is a great shop, but they don't seem to be able to take on any new work at the moment.
I was supposed to get my emanage system tuned there after boosting, but it has been over a month now.
