Chance of snow tomorrow?

First winter for me and my 8, should I be worried about RWD with a possibility of icey roads?

Yes, if you don't ahve snow tires on your baby. Rule is if you have stock tires, don't drive, no matter how little snow you think there is.
If you do drive in snow with stock tires on, be sure to tell us when you wreck somthing. See if you get some love.

I drove my 8 during winter last year and it wasn't too bad, but it sure wasn't pleasant. I've already warned my co-workers that the 8 doesn't drive in snow, sleet, ice or hail so if the weather says any of those are coming, then don't expect me anytime soon.

Me too!

I'm not too concerned about me driving in the snow, as I'll just take it super easy if I can't get home before it starts.
What i'm really worried about is all the retard soccermommia ignoramii in their giant SUVs assuming that a giant vehicle makes them invincible.

crosses fingers for an early wednesday/all day thursday off.

about 4 years ago, it was really bad...this tool was driving down the tollway in his Lincoln SUV maybe...hit a bridge, and spun 180 degrees right into the media...i was to far past him to help, but i did call the tollway help line...then i got a good laugh, because dumbass got out of his car, and just kind of shook his head like he couldn't understand what had happened.

Actually from my perspective, the '8 is my car of choice. I have a ranger and a mustang. The Mustang can't take off without spinning tires, and the ranger has NO weight in the rear. I guess I'm just screwed! I didn't get to drive in it last year due to transmission issues.

Well, my boss just told me that if we have bad weather tomorrow to stay home. The problem is, i don't think it's supposed to start until after rush hour.

Ooh, a final. If you have to go, good luck. Although I don't think you will.

Last time it iced/snowed, it took me 2 hours for a normal 30 minute drive. The sad part is that I'm making the same drive this year and my exit is just after this big *** bridge that took an hour to get over. My tires spun several times and I seriously was afraid of slipping backwards. I'm going home at the slightest hint of snow. Those engineers will have to drive themselves crazy for a change.

Anything having to do with engineers drives me bonkers. I'd start to talk about it, but I wouldn't be able to stop. It's a soap box issue for me. Some of these guys know me fairly well.... I'm not sure what else would make me nuts. But hey, I've got an idea, let's not try.

In Colorado, the rental company refers to SUV's a turtles. The reason is people rent them and think they can drive them thru the snowy mountain roads like it's summer at the park. Most of them end up in a ditch upside down. I don't think the engineers have figured out a way to combine snow and stupid people.

are you sure that's not a short drive? hehe (ya' knew someone was going to say it) I get the same effect from our end users, we have actually had people call in helpdesk tickets because they don't like the color of their wallpaper and they don't know how to change it......talk about driving someone bonkers
