Houston Club Meeting ~ April 5th 2005
Well the days are getting longer and the temperatures are getting warmer so we should hopefully start seeing more and more members at the meetings.
Over the Winter months we have seen a steady 20 or so cars at each meeting so with some luck from Mother Nature we will see some 40 car meetings in April and May! Yes, I said it 40 cars, come on everyone I know we can do it.
Everyone please take a look at your calendars and let's all decide on when the best weekend for a Late April drive would be.
Our next meeting will be at Barry's Pizza (located at the corner of Richmond and Fountainview) this has been one of our most succesful meeting locations and was recommended by several individuals at the last meeting. Please shoot me a email or respond back to this thread letting me know you are coming, I want to make sure we have enough seating for everyone once we get there!

Well, unfortunately, I will probably be in the hospital again and won't be able to make it. One of the reasons I have my 8 up for sale. I would like to keep it and would like to be able to make some more meetings, but health and finances seem to be against eithe4r of those happening.

I'm just writing to let y'all know that I didn't drop of the face of the globe but I won't be able to make it again. Unfortunately I have a monthly meeting every Wednesday morning that I usually have to prepare for well into Tuesday night which is why I haven't been in a while.

It's sad that I now have 2 RX-7's and I still won't be driving one of them to the meet! My first gen is actually just in need of some ecu tuning. I'm also waiting for my exhaust flanges to arrive so I can finish that up. That car is basically done at that point. I just picked up a 2nd gen and it needs lots of attention. Not quite sure where to start. I guess I'll find out tomorrow. I'll see you all there again in a Civic.

We saw "Doc" Chris at the shop meet Sunday with his better half and his new daughter Mia, so Chris is alive and doing well, minus the turbo Miata
He still has the 3rd Gen, so that is good. He should be at the Tuesday meet.
Fred will eventually get one of the two cars working soon, either that, or I'm going to go buy some cinder blocks for his front lawn

Houston Club Meeting ~ May 3rd 2005
Come one come all to Houston's biggest (monthly) rotary gathering. This months meeting will be held at Freebird's located within the Shepard Square (Hwy59 and Shepard). Of course those of you who came to the last meeting already know that. :D

Look for the rotaries in the parking lot about 6:30 PM and be ready to eat some dinner around 7:15... and don't forget to save some room for an after-dinner retreat to Amy's for some ice cream.

June Club Meeting, Tuesday 06/07/05
We'll be meeting at Gabby's BBQ, 3101 N. Shepard (713) 864-5049. As usual we will begin gathering in the parking lot around 6:30pm. We'll move inside to eat at 7:00pm and the meeting should start around 8pm, lasting approximately 30 minutes.

We will need to let them know approxametly how many will be coming, so please RSVP no later than 10pm on Monday, June 6th!
