I'm in Northwest Arkansas, and will be purchasing an 8 in the next couple of weeks....just wondering if there was anyone else in the area that subscribes to the board.

 

Yeah, there's a couple of us. I just got back from UT Austin for the summer, so I haven't actually met any of the guys here in person. I also think I'm gonna be here next year cause I'm probably gonna transfer to the business department here since there is no way I can get into the one at UT. Anyway welcome to the forum.

 

The first drive you should take is on the "Pig Trail" , it's the kind of road the 8 was made for !!!! been lovin' mine since the first week of August . What dealer are you going thru ?

I am getting my 8 through Reliable Mazda in Springfield, MO. These guys have been great to work with so far, no hassles or gimmicks - just straight forward get to business. They are selling me the car for exactly invoice price.

On the other hand, Superior Mazda in Springdale, AR was a joke. Not only were the salespeople rude and disorganized, they quoted me a price that was $1150 over invoice and said that was the best I was gonna find for S-Plan. Yeah right. I hate that kind of bluffing B.S.

 

If you don't like BS, stay away from Crain Mazda in Little Rock.

WHats up? Congrats on owning an 8 and welcome to the forum. There is a guy here in OKC that is trying to get an RX8 car club going. He name is USAF_RX8(Jason) on this board. I met up with him today. We would like to get a bunch of 8's together. If you are interested just let us know.

Another Muskogeean here. Just got my '8 a month ago....
