Any local guys install fogs/remove bumper before?

Hey local guys, I had a little mishap and ended up killing the drivers side foglight bracket (plastic piece surrounding it). To make a long story short, has anyone local here installed a foglight or taken off their bumper before? How involved is it and does it even need to be done to replace the foglight bracket? Any insight would be much appreciated.

It's not as difficult as it is daunting. There is a good DIY on here. That's was all I needed to install my RB Intake and Ram-Air scoop. Just a few screws under the "lip" and a few more bolts on the top. The weirdest part was to "peel" the bumper off vs. pulling it off.

Check out the DIY. You could do it by yourself, as did I. A "helper" would be cool but not needed.

Hope this helps.

Thanks, I actually tore some of the underpanel/fender liner plastic as well and had to get some screws/bolts from the other side to impromptu get it back on. Any idea on what parts I would need besides just the fog light bracket? Are there any other plastic pieces that hold the foglight into the bumper?

The fog light is a part of the front bumper...I'm not really sure about your problem. Pics would help alot. The plastic liner for the front fender doesn't really hold the bumper on. The screws do, however, go through them and into the sheet metal. I'm not really sure what holds the fog light housing onto the bumper. I took my bumer off to install my intake and only had to remove the bulb/wires from the housing. You may need to buy new fog lights. Ebay has the OEMs with EVERTHING you need for pretty cheap. If not, you can check with Rosenthal. They sell individual pieces for a good price. Ask for Dave in parts. He's a great guy and should be able to pin down what ever pieces you need.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the advice, I know that the liners don't hold anything on however mine were flapping around since some clips got knocked out. That should be no problem if I just buy a few clips/bolts. As far as the foglight I just checked and the light unit itself works just fine, guess I just need whatever OEM piece to mount it back onto the front bumper.

Quick update, picked up the bracket/bolts/clips from Freeman and got it done today. Took about an hour total, I was VERY surprised how easy the bumper lined up and went back on.

Or just don't double/triple stack them so they're not 10 pounds each Oh well at least I know it was a cheap/quick fix.
