I called today to get an opinion and the owner told me he is closing up shop. He said he will make more money renting the space out. It's sad to see a place like this go out of business after being open for so many years.

 

damn, another one bites the dust, first Gotham gets robbed and now this....bummer.

 

so are they selling stuff for cheap???? may have to make a drive down there..

 

sucks to lose a good shop. I'm not familiar with Alamo but I know that if the Rotary shop near me closed it would be a very very sad day for lots of us.

 

You may have seen the yellow 3 rotor rx8 that was on ebay. I think it was owned by the owner of Alamo Rotary.

 

So no big sales going on there??

I don't think he stocks much for the RX8 but I should call and ask. He said it was just too much labor for too little money. Sometimes business decisions are tough.

 

I met this guy briefly couple of years ago when I first got my RX8. He had 2 FDs and just finished the yellow NA 3 rotor RX8. this place is close to my house. He did close that shop and rent out the space. He owns a small strip center off HW 78 in Converse. Did not know he was selling the 8 on Ebay. He even had custom plates
