Set the rears a little on the higher side so they could fully settle in before final adjustments.

Will be finalizing it this weekend and then the alignment.

Alright! Looks like we have a solution for the OEM strut bar issue currently pending. For those of you who have not yet installed/do not wish to modify your OEM bar, we have a solution coming!

As DLum mentioned, I believe all aftermarket ones should work. A simple test would be to take your aftermarket bar and compare the height with your OEM bar.

Rear extenders, still trying to get a solid date to provide you guys. I can assure you I am working on this one (actually needing a pair of this newer design for my personal coilovers as well!)

For those of you who have installed - what are your thoughts? Do you think any other coilovers for this price could compete with these with regards to quality?

Alright, got my ride height dialed for the most part. Here's a crappy cell phone pic.

If you put your finger into the wheel gap parallel to the ground, I can put my finger into the back up to a little past my first knuckle so my fingertip just starts to touch the edge of tread, and the front is one finger gap.

Here's the amount of turns (from all the way unthreaded) that I used to get even heights on both sides with no driver in the car.

Driver Front: 30 Turns
Pasenger Front: 31 Turns
Driver Rear: 41 Turns
Passenger Rear: 46 Turns

Hopefully I don't run into any problems on the track being this low. My track wheels are sunk a little more and have a little smaller diameter so we'll see.

I'll have a full review up after I get these on the track this weekend. Running a really awesome course with a good mix of high speed and low speed stuff, huge straight, and over 80 feet of elevation change. Should be awesome.

I'm getting my car weighed this weekend and I'll know what the balance is but I won't have enough time to corner balance. Hopefully I can get that done soon.

They are a lot more comfortable than I thought they would be. I'll know better on performance once I go to autoX. I don't know how much my opinion counts though because this is my first set of coilovers, but I'm happy with them.

We should have 2-3 sets available. At the moment, we are trying to work out the issue with the stock front strut tower as well as the rear extenders. I was trying to hold off until then before marketing these further but rx 8speciale, I love your car and would love to get you on some Powertrix. Please PM me your full shipping address so we can begin the quoting process

Anyone with OEM strut bars running Powertrix coilovers, please PM me!

I would like to thank everyone for their patience and flexibility. Here is another quick update:

-We will have the strut bar solution as of Saturday! DLum's car will be the first and we will be posting documentation (as well as a DIY )

-Still waiting to hear back from the factory on the rear extenders!

Arca - Looks great, can't wait to hear your review! Were you coming from the factory setup?

I was running Eibach Progressive Drop springs and stock dampers.

So far it's a world of difference. Can't wait to get it out on the track.

Just got my alignment dialed in today. Running 0.1 toe in all four corners, 2.1 negative camber up front and 2.6 negative camber out back.

Those sound like good settings for a controllable car without much oversteer. I'm really excited to hear how they do! Are you going to try out different damper settings, or did you already have something in mind?

You are #1 on the list! Right now we would like to finalize the strut bar solution prior to shipping any further sets.

Thanks for the support everyone! Once we get all these kinks straightened out, I will likely be starting a "Calling All Powertrix!" thread to show off our various cars. Right now we've got everything from show to track representing. If anyone who plans on tracking or showing their car would like a large Powertrix vinyl, please PM me

Right now I'm planning on running them at 8 up front and 10 out back. I need to keep the suspension movement in the back down because it's a little lower than I'd like for the track. The camber control arm is past horizontal right now so when the suspension loads up, the wheel will add positive camber instead of adding more negative camber like it should. Shouldn't be too big of a deal though.

Couple other things to note, I'll have my Progress Tech sways in the softest settings, still testing those out. The endlink positioning could be better but I'll mess with those another day.
I preloaded the springs only as much as I could tighten them by hand then did one turn with the wrench. I haven't corner balanced yet.

Also for the vinyls, I'll gladly run two large black ones on the sides of the car if they want to send me some 11k/8k springs for cost of shipping

Hmm, ex-evo owner Arca? Our cars don't gain positive camber when the camber arm goes beyond parallel.

In other news, Powertrix Coilovers successfully installed with the OEM strut bar. Congrats DLum! All future coilover purchases will be 100% compatible with the factory strut bar with no modification required. This update will be sent out to those who have already purchased at request, PM me for details!

If anyone wishes to have this fix mailed to them, it is in stock and ready to ship shortly. Please PM me your full shipping information and I will get them sent over with comprehensive instructions! I will also be posting the instructions online, it is a simple 5 minute process

DLum's car is officially low. Just wait until these springs settle in after some driving...

Lastly, check out these Powertrix rear coilovers compared to some aftermarket competitor's rear coilovers. Which would you rather have on your car?

Arca - I forgot to mention; Let me know how your track day went. If you need some 11k 200mm/8k 200mm springs, this can be arranged. Please PM me if you're serious on this one.
