too bad - i already ordered mine from Petit on Monday

 

By chance does anybody have an extra RX-8 sticker that perhaps they didn't use? I received mine today, but the **** didn't quite fit right. As I pulled the mechanism out of the back of the original piece, my sticker fell off between my seat and console. I just spent 45 minutes in positions I hope to never be in ever again, in 108 heat, looking for it... No luck. Once I got the other little piece into the back of the new ****, it fit perfectly. Alas, no RX-8 sticker.

 

That kind of thing has happened to me time and time again. The 8 has a black hole that opens up at high RPMs and makes things disapear. (Especially under the seats).

Did you happen to bring the RPMs above 7k on the drive before this happened?

 

I was too busy text messaging to notice!

I kept moving the seat back and forth (electronically) and my guess is I got a hole in one where the carpet is cut for the circuitry to the seat. I mean, it flat out disappeared and I can't see where else it could have gone. I suppose the good news is, I know it's in the car... Somewhere.

I made my own bass and treble (minor) small radio buttons up myself, didn't turn out to bad.

These buttons just push on pull off like the main radio button does
see pics.

 

Made my own rota radio button, its not as good as the ones that petttit sell, but for a few hours on a old lathe, didn't turn out to bad

I just got one and put it on. I'm pretty happy with it, though for it to be perfectly upright (with the point down) I have to have the dial in between two "clicks" of the radio ****. The way they have the hole lined up it wants to sit at a slightly sideways angle.

 

^^ Mine sits the same way so it has to be between clicks as well.^^

Good thing is I rarely touch it because of the steering wheel controls.

 

Oh! I didn't see the two little rotor buttons you made as well.
