Got mine yesterday, and took a brief look through the instructions. I'll probably do it tonight or tomorrow.

My only concern is that RR said that I could remove it and 'return to stock', but there are wire splices - don't those cut the wires? Granted I'm not an electrical engineer, but I presume they've gotta make the connection somehow. I'd really hate to cut into these wires under my dash.

The splices don't cut the wires. They pierce the insulation to make contact with the copper wire. No damage is done and if removed there is barley any visible marks to the wire.

RR, I just got looking at the instructions. Yes I take my time since
I got them about 1 month ago
eitherway
I ordered a front set and a rear set.
Where are the instructions for the rear set?
All I see is instructions for the front ones.
and which are which, they are not marked.
Oh have not really opened the packages.
Hope to install the front ones..in a week or so , hey no rush

I don't know about the instructions for the rears, but I would bet they have much longer wires. PS make sure to squeeze the connectors extra hard so you get a good connection.

The rears have longer wires. Mount them under the seats. Everything else remains the same.

Let me know if you have further questions.

I still haven't gotten mine to work. I'd PM you, but I'm not sure what you'd be able to do. My camera is dead so I can't take any pictures. From what I can tell I'm tapped into the right wires, and I've tried to crush them down as much as I can with pliers and no dice...

And damn, I didn't realize how freakin hard it is to get up in there under the dash lol..

does the 8 come with standard foot well lights?
mine seems to have a single led kinda to the left (right behind the trunk button) and one on passenger seat.
