hmm...my footwell lights almost look more purple than my map lights, etc...

like they aren't as bright....maybe I will try the map lights from rx8 strakes. Do they have a dome light as well..the one in the back seat?

 

Yeah they have the dome also.

 

here are some shots with the RR's footwell lights coupled with RX8Strakes super blue LEDs door and dome.
The dome light comes with the door light set (atleast mine did). My map lights are still conventional bulbs... and I'm still on the fence as to whether or not I want to convert them.

I think the ones I got were a combination of autolumination and v-leds leds

 

I believe each of mine (both dome and door) consisted of 6 LEDs each if that's what you're referring to.

 

i ahve v leds on in my trunk, glove box, and side markers.

 

aye... side markers too... but mine are super red instead of amber to illustrate the rebel I am :D

I'm actually considering the Blacklight kit from RX8strakes, but I think it's way overpriced compared to the rest of their setups. Why is that? $40, it has 2 more bulbs than the $15 sets?

 

Update:

I was making some sets this weekend and noticed that the resistors I got the other day were the wrong type.

Anyway, I shipped a few but there are 4 orders that haven't shipped because I ran out of resistors. I reordered the parts and should have them in a week or so. Sorry for the delay.

When I get home tonight I will check to see which 4 haven't shipped.

Does anyone have any pictures of the wiring or attachment to the under-dash? I'm really picky about making sure my car looks stock, and I don't want any loose/bare wires or holes in the underdash, etc..

I'd rather no pictures of where the wires attach be posted because finding the correct wires was the hardest part of this project for me. When you buy my kit, you're not just buying the leds but also the directions to install them... think of it as intellectual property.

You will not see any loose wires and the car will appear stock. The dealer will not harass you about them. Lastly, if you decide to sell the car, these can be removed without any residual effects or marks.
