Mark...even if I send you the MO tomorrow....it will take about week for the Post to get it to you......I sent Team and Jay MO's and it took about 10days to get there Paypa; would be faster. Did you get a price for the pillowball mounts for the front?

If you send it priority flat rate envelope ($4.05) it will get there there in 2-3days, and btw supermarket money orders are significantly cheaper then postal money orders.

I'm hunting this down for you, KWUSA says that KWEUR may have a set available and I found this R32 post that would seem to corroborate this:
http://forums.speedarena.com/zerothread?id=3064008
Blue R32, sig says that he has Variant 3's and "KW Motorsports Adjustable Top Mounts" I'm asking the owner of the car to elborate, it may just be that those are the Racing ones I meantioned earlier for $300-350, IF thats the case and IF they are adaptable to the Rx-8 (racing catalog for 2006 doesnt' have the rx8) would you want them, or do you wanna hold out on the prototypes that KWUSA will be realease in a few months?

I do want the pillowball upper mount...the adjustment will do nothing on our cars though..and is a waste of money. See if they have a non-adjustable one...I can wait for them if needed.

As for the postal delivery...remember I live in Canada ....it takes 4-5 days to get to the border

This is what their racing catalog says: (image attached)

Now it says they are "adjustable in some applications" meaning they probably wouldn't be for ours, because like you said it would be a waste of money. Now don't quote me on this but i thought i read that the MX-5 (which they have racing pillow ball mounts in their 2006 catalog) uses the same upper mount for their suspension as we do...?

This may be a stupid question but does lifetime warranty mean free rebuilds??

"The KW warranty is a lifetime warranty to the original purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship for as long as you own that car registered for street use. The warranty does not cover damage to the parts caused by misuse, misapplication, installation, motorsports, etc."

When I started the groub buy I asked my contact if the warranty covers rebuilds; the responce I got is "any seal damage is warranted long as its not caused by poor installation or vehicle accidents" he didn't even mention anything about racing.

So as long as your rebuild isn't because you bent a shaft or something like that i would assume so.

dannobre; if you want new ones you can get all 4 stock top mounts for $150 from mazmart or you can reuse your stock ones and if you really want pillowballs, speedsource can convert the OEMs ones for $195/pair. Pretty good deal.

Paul at mazmart confirmed that MX-5 topmounts are different, still waiting on KWEUR to answer if they have an racing application for the rx-8, I myself will probably wait on KWUSA to produce a kit for $200/pair.

Sorry I was late getting back to the party on this; sounds like Beers covered you on the cable, but we can supply them if need be. By the fact you need a cable am I to assume that the kit does not come with top mounts of any kind? Sounds like no fronts either? Just want to clarify that. I'd say the odds are better that the JIC cable will adapt to the KWs, but you may get lucky on the Tokico ones.

My stuff came two days ago, won't be mounting it until the end of april.
Should be really easy to make an adapter for the adjustment cables swoope sent me, i'll go to home depot today to see what i can throw together.
Pics of front and rear coilovers.

Ha Ha...... Ypu for got about the adjustments on the bottom. See that rubber C clip on the bottom? Move it and you can use a screw driver to adjust it.

You should be fine, I expect to be running this for a while.

I've found the required hardware to link up the tokico adjustment cable to the KW rebound adjuster, so this will be fairly easy to do.... OR

But heres the really exciting bit, I'm about 2 weeks away from having a finalized EDFC-like system for adjusting rebound, i've sourced the motors and have a way of attaching them to the shocks, now all i have to do is find a analog **** with 16 positions and make a programming table for the controller and wam bam we'll have a electronic way of turning the rebound adjustment **** in the rear rather than using extension cables, pretty cool if you ask me.

Great idea Polak.

The coilovers I have should work perfectly with the Cusco Zero2E controller once I make a bracket to hold the motors on the top of the adjusters.

It will be awesome to have control from inside the car.
