Has Carlos even been on rx-8club.com? He may not even see this for a while. Would be better to contact him. I'd rather get the pod cover and based on his past rep we should get them. After someone talks to him in person, we'll know more. Personally I'd rather pay someone else more $ to get the pods shiped (even though it's complete BS)

 

He may not have seen this you may be right. Although, when you know you have peoples money and haven't shipped the product after saying you would a few times then not posting and already having previous issues with communication regarding this group buy, then it's a major problem and leaves you sour.

Oh don't take that the wrong way Ryan28A wasn't aimed at you, only a general response to any doubt in our heads that we shouldn't be pissed.

I have NO doubt that Carlos will come through. I don't think anyone out there needs to worry about Carlos skipping town with their $$. I can't say what the delay is, but I'm sure he'll get them out soon.

Carlos: If you need some help packing these things up, just say the word. I'd be more than willing to give you a hand with getting these shipped.

I mean he was approved for the group buy right, so wouldn't that mean that he has some kind of credibility to be able to collect all of that money and set this up?

I'm not doubting your knowledge of this memeber, just trying to get a better idea of why he cannot even post a reply anymore it's 18 days now, especially on the weekends when most people have less in their lives to attend to.

It would be so sad if he can't make it out by the deadline (May 6), especially when he supposedly have it laying on his garage floor. I don't know about you guys, but I want my money back if it doesn't come by the deadline, absolutely no backing down. Are you guys with me?

 

I don't want just my money back till the last $ but i also want more money for all this anxious waiting and all those shilly promises....WTF can anyone reach him or go to his home and talk to him..I know this sounds a bit over but if i had other people's money i would ship that staff the next day i ll recieve them...There are 2months man..COM ON!!!DON'T PLAY WITH US!!!

And i was in that group buy just because i knew him as a person you can trust...A very reliable one...I lose my faith to him by the day...If i had serious problems with family etc i would send this things out and then i would's have to worry for anything else than my family..Is this just me or what??

Are you serious? Give him some slack? When he promised they would go out twice maybe even three times I forget, but then can't post a damn thing for 19 days but can log on to this forum and dicuss other group buys such as the custom carbon fiber vented hood, maybe you should check his posts and when his has logged in before you cut him too much slack. Sorry but the real world doesn't like being left hanging around with our money already taken and we can't even get a response at all.

He can't even just say hello and pop his head in on this thread but can post on other threads even with family emergencies, and he has blocked himself, you don't find any of this fishing?

Research this thread a little more before defending him so much and making us look like bad guys.

Here's cortc's pm he sent me for an address check to ship the pod to. He sent it 3/4/05!!! Almost 2 months of them just sitting there.

I've waited for stuff from this list a lot longer ....a lot of the vendors and people selling on here do it as a sideline, from home. I would get much more upset if it was from a business.

That being said....communication is Golden........and people are much more willing to be patient with some feedback

dam, pretty focked up situation here. IF and when he sends it, he should send the payments along with it for the troubles. Not going to the forums is one thing, but make a phone call, takes mere seconds to return a call. Forget posting guys, just man the phones and call this guy 24/7.

 

I agree with that completely..And the phone calls seems the last choice..We maybe seem like jerks but wtf he has our money and he is playing with us..

I believe the mods shouldn't agree for a group buy made by cortc again...Just like with the hoods and with the pulleys(Damn and i wanted them but i don't want to have same probs so i ll pass....)
