My guess is that the user deleted his part out thread.
It's the same member that tried to scam me a while ago but with a different name. The name associated with his email account was Miguel T something.

I am in the process of buying a part from an individual named Miguel Tirado.
His ID is Mazda Speed2005. The intial paypal was frozen due to suspicious buyer.
He returned the paypal payment since that was all he could do and now wants me to sent payment to another paypal account.
Any suggestions on how not to be scammed.
He could not produce a photo of the part as it was in the mail dock.
I did get a generic photo od an RX-8

Simple way to avoid being scammed in this.
Take your money elsewhere.
No pictures by itself is a no-go on purchase from someone you don't know personally. Add to that suspicious paypal flag, in a thread where he is apparently called out for scamming elsewhere, you would be functionally retarded to try to continue purchasing something from him.

there honestly has to be something a user has to do before being allowed to sell, provide some sort of id, or use an escrow service or at least have a 100 post count, so people can see the type of posts he makes and try to see a pattern if hes only posting to get his post count up and then selling stuff as soon as he hits 100 posts..

It'd be nice if mods could ip ban a person from at least the selling section of the forum...in a perfect world I guess

I don't know the answer, but those aren't it. Unfortunately you can't legislate away ignorance. Folks have to educate themselves that there are ******** in the world who want to cheat them. If they choose not to learn the easy way by reading the stickies in the FS forum and the anti-fraud information in Paypal, they will have to learn the hard way.
We should help when and how we can, like when I helped get the ******* this thread is about booted again, and when I posted a big "CAUTION" on a similar FS thread with a new user with zero posts. But ultimately we can't always protect people from their own ignorance.
And when you do get scammed, don't bend over and take it! Fight like hell. VS8 tried to screw me by misrepresenting what he was selling, then refusing to take responsibility or refund my money. It wasn't much money but I started a Bad Guy thread and got my money back, though he never did take responsibility. The astonishing thing was how many people publicly announced in that thread they are willing to bend over and get screwed if the dollar amount is small enough. Never do that! Let scammers get away with anything and they'll keep going for bigger payoffs!
