Let's all be really honest here for a minute. Deep down, we all figured it out a long time ago, and the people who did voice those concerns where somewhat ignored because there was no tangible proof. It's hardly a surprise/outrage. It slipped under the bridge and the 90% of the community who wasn't keeping up to date with the MazSport fiasco just said "hey a new vendor" and flocked away.

I've dealt with Brice a few times and I don't think he's a bad person. In fact he was pretty good about any issues I brought up. That doesn't mean I think everything he's ever done was right.

Yes he fucked up. Is that **** up worth being exiled? We can sit here and debate it for 150 pages but in the end, who we decide to support as a vendor will determine that on its own.

 

I think that should sum up the thread.

If he's allowed to stay everyone will know what he did and it'll be up to them to support him or not.

Seeing as how Race Root's vendor forum has had it's threads moved/deleted/closed and Zoom44 posted the following: The question now is: Will Race Roots be allowed to continue to be an official forum vendor for the RX8club?

I have dealt with Brice an awful lot call me a facilitor i too would be guilty after reading several threads i always felt there was a connection between scott and Brice whatever or however little it may have been. I have never been defrauded personally by Brice and have always received good service. I do still give him credit for voicing the connection and apologizing however i am disappointing it has come to this. I work in collections amongst other things for a large wholesale medical supplier and see things like this transpire often a business slips away under the guise of bankruptcy (chapter 11 reorganzation) and then comes back as someone else my company has been burned quite a bit it really sucks. What i often see is when a customer goes bankrupt they sell their inventory to another dealer we deal with for clearance prices which sucks even more because not only are we burned but we know who has our goods....infuriating.

I can only hope and do honestly believe that Brice has and will learn from this. Its easy to want to succeed in a business sometimes when you feel you can get a competitive edge you take it which seems to be why he worked with Scott ultimately it hurt him and he knows that.

I have posted several good guy threads and still will say they are valid as those were my business dealings with him. I feel for the people who were burned I have been in similar situations lost over what is owed to people as a total on this board when starting my own new business.


Its all a personal judgement call now.

If he is allowed to be a vendor still, maybe his sig should be forced to say "Buyer beware, I have been banned in the past for questionable business practices" until he can prove otherwise.

I would like any proceeds made from the sale of the BB midpipe to me last year to go to all those ripped off by the guy you knowingly allowed to keep profiting from us.

My suspiscions, as a few others have shared, have finally been confirmed.

Everyone here has valid points, and everyone as there own opinion. As WULF said, "We can sit here and debate it for 150 pages but in the end, who we decide to support as a vendor will determine that on its own".

I dont own or run a business, but im sure everyone that has had its own, have had poor business qualitys. You wont know till you learn. Life is a learning experience and we learn or most people learn from others.

People here will either keep buying from Brice, or they wont. I personaly will, i havent had any bad experience, and most parts on my car have come from him. Not trying to be a fanboi, but if a part was on order he kept me updated and if it took longer then supposed to he gave me money back or offered somthing else.

You cant please everyone in the world no matter who you are, Brice may have gotten over his head at one point and just got to much to handle, it happens...

Hopefully things will/be worked out to the best.

i got so many parts from brice, like starting in 2008 i started getting parts from him and i never had problem with him
taking m money or anything, he responds to my emails fast, i think he is a good guy, he might did bad in past, but least he came clean

I'm not to be going off on any long rant here as I just read every single post in this thread in the last hour or so. I simply haven't had time to process all of this yet, nor have I read what's going on(or has gone on over) on the MS site.

I'm going to stick to the heart of the matter as I see it.

Bottom line:
At this point, I simply can't do business with a vendor that blatantly lies.....which is exactly what you have done Brice. I don't care if you came clean on your own(which it doesn't exactly appear to be the case) or not. Respect is earned and what respect there may have been is gone now for sure.
Can it possibly be earned back in the future?
Should it be?
Taken as a whole, that's not for me to decide.

Having been around here for some time, I wasn't completely blind.......myself along with my "fringe brothers" always suspected(at the very least) that Scott was somewhere in the background and knew it might blow up........eventually.
In a way, it's kinda surprising that others had way more info, but that's the nature of being on the fringe.....which is just kinda where I prefer to hang out.
That last sentence is just an editorial comment, don't run wild with it guys.

Applaud the mods for leaving the thread open, and applaud the community for keeping it civil..................so far.

I do know one thing Brice...............if you do intend to stay around, or are allowed to do so, stop the condescending crap, man up, and get on with it. Whatever that may be. People gonna be talking about this **** for a long *** time.

EDIT: For the record, I have purchased at least one small item from Brice and no issues. I have also corresponded with him via PM on one or two questions(nothing of any real note) and he has always been responsive.

And.............I'm sorry, but this cracked me up..............has anyone been able to confirm as of yet that Jeff really isn't a "deviant pagan baby-eater"?

Maybe he's indifferent because he doesn't care about others. Maybe it's a sign of mental illness.

Because if all hes done is lie about his business ties then why cant this be forgiven? So yes the person he did business with was a bad person but if he didnt do anything to us other than lie then i dont see a huge problem here...
