Race Roots coming clean....
Honestly as this point I am not quite sure where he stands on the matter after reviewing this thread and everyones responses. He has the choice of posting but he choses not to I cannot force him to post or say anything.
He is definitely aware of the situation that is for sure.
Brice- Since you said that Scott hasn't been paid in several months, who is currently doing the tuning?
Reason I ask is because a local did purchase your tuning service and I would like him to know whats going on (or if you'll continue the tuning service).
Correct I mislead the community and this thread was a start to inform them of what has occurred and my apology for doing so.
Wow getreddytogreddy told me this right after he got banned. He said u and Scott were doing business and Scott owed rx8club over 30k. That's rediculous
Brice, I admire u coming out in open and admit your faults. I've boughten plenty of stuff from you and everything has been like u said. I still have u I'm my book of business

This is what I'm interested in and knew about for awhile.

He still has MS3 customers that still need to be serviced.

i have absolutely nothing to contribute to this thread. way back in the day i ordered a clutch bracket and the cooling mod from mazsport and was fortunate enough to get both. but that was before **** hit the fan. had i ordered after the incident, things mightve turned out differently.
i think its interesting to look at the join dates of the people defending RR and the people not.
and as for me, i saw this coming a mile away.

Thats the bottom line folks- why all of this is taking place.
Brice lied to the entire community for a year and is only coming clean because he got caught.
Brice chose not to disclose what he believed to be criminal activity until it was of some benefit to him and then he still didnt go to the police.
He has admitted all of this. Whether his mea culpa and reformation is believable is up to you. This is absolutely his last shot. I wouldnt ever believe him again and I certainly wouldn't ever buy from him.
You guys make your own decisions.

I for one can not forgive these past premeditated and deliberate actions by you Brice.
The actions that I have seen from you over the past year are so blatantly corrupt. It's all about the Brice climb the ladder to the top. Stepping on all the people on the way up. Do you have a conscience?
You have no one to blame for all this but yourself.

I was unaware and totally forgot about you. I did not know of any issues you had because you have ordered more stuff from me, repeatedly.
Oddly you are both named mark now that I think of it as well.
docgatorx8er is at work and can't respond right now, but he paid you for tuning service and received two tunes so far.
I'll let him explain further when he comes back.
I just assumed everything was fine because has put in multiple orders in.
Now that I think of it MDW1000 is in Chicago IL.

This mea culpa is so transparently cynical it's sickening.
I could go on quite literally for pages on this, but I won't.
I do take exception to the idea that this thread is only about RR and not Scott and MazSport. They are, in fact, two faces of the same operation in regards to my interaction with them. This was not jot just a succession, it was, for a while, concurrent.
Brice was always clearly a liar and a cheat who would freely sell his neighbor's lawn furniture as if it were his own. I don't often come across someone that is so completely devoid of anything approaching an ethical center as he.
Scott on the other hand was a completely different operator - he is very good at convincing you that the table and umbrella in the next yard were not only his but that he had invented them and if you just stayed with it for a while the chairs and the chaise would be life-altering.
It was more interesting to me to witness the inevitable cannibalism of their arrangement and the way that Glassburn has apparently thrown Brice under the bus than to try to take an active part in interrupting their romance.
I spent a significant amount of time spoon-feeding Scott and BlueMonster (when I didn't know Brice from a hole in the wall), letting each pick my brain, only to have them both openly attempt to subvert several of my projects for their own gain.
I probably should have known better, but it is a particular conceit of mine to bask somewhat in the light when it eventually goes on in someone's mind. Because of the difference in tone between this forum and the MazdaSpeed forums, you really can't get an idea of how active Brice and Scott were in deliberately undermining my work by just looking at how things played out here.
It was, for a while, the mainstay of the nearly daily dialog between me an Christian Krahenbuhl at Cobb: Scott would call to get a clarification on a calibration parameter, I would come up with an implementation guideline and then Scott, having the benefit of my methodology would then "announce" that he had some new trick or update and proceed to implement it (often incorrectly) on his customer's vehicles. It became a game for me to hide "easter eggs" in the calibration guidelines to see which ones would be lifted word-for-word. Just think "dwell" and you'll understand where I am coming from.
In a free market, nothing is sacred. But it always made my skin crawl to think that not only was someone being fed a whole lot of crap (and being told about what a deviant pagan baby-eater I am and how I would intentionally blow up their car) but that they might at some point pay the price with their motor or something similar after having bought into a product/system that would, on the surface, look identical to what I was offering.
I am certainly not a stranger to finding oneself in a bind when operating on a business model like RR/Fluid/MazSport; When your back-end suddenly falls out and you are left holding the bag on unfulfilled requisitions for made-to-order parts and have no way to immediately make good on those orders.
It sucks, but the only thing you can do is to stop taking any new orders, regroup and dig into your own pocket and make it right. If your pockets are empty, you just have to realize that the entirety of your current and future efforts will just have to go towards "paying down your debt".
But digging deep and getting it done isn't really an option for Brice now - he doesn't make anything himself as he doesn't really have any actual ability or talent. Without Scott there to produce the trickle of parts for him and without the steady cash flow of big-ticket items to launder, he is just left to plead for clemency and hope he can continue to float his operation on flipping parts and drop-shipping.
When faced with this sort of situation, Scott pulled up the tent spikes and got out of Dodge.
Brice will just look to expand his Ponzi scheme to new markets.
In any event, it's not an enviable position in which to find oneself, but karma is a bitch.

I don't want to be the "middle man" in this since I don't have all the facts at hand, so I'll let you and Doc handle this.

Brice - I commend you for coming forward and being honest with the community. I do agree with Zoom though that it is a little late. As a person you knew the situation that Scott was in and the debt that he owed this community and ignored it for your own profit. Now that the profit is gone you are turning on him. How you happened to get product from Scott given the state of his business has always been shady...I just hope you have documentation to avoid legal recourse.
Mods - Thank you for unlocking this thread and unbanning Brice. While I know it is going to be a PITA to manage, and be ugly for the community, I think users should have the right to respond to these events.

Shrug.
I've dealt with Brice since he first started selling under Fluid.
I've placed probably over 10 orders with him, shipping to Canada, alot of which was custom stuff.
Always received goods, always stayed in contact, and always great quality.
Will continue doing business with him, all this drama is just... Drama..
He didn't personally do anything wrong to me, he did not scam me. People expect a TON from these vendors, they want everything right away, the pressure gets to them and they want to please the customers. This leads to undercutting deliveries for custom parts, which always needs to be paid for before production begins, it's a long vicious cycle.
I had a couple deliveries with him that were very long. It didn't bother me. I didn't care who was making it, if he told me himself that Scott was making the parts I wouldn't care. Scott never scammed me, and if he did, then Brice would have to deal with it. I know he would deal with it well, too. Long story short, oil pan + midpipe (looked alot like Mazsport midpipe), delivery was huge, Brice kept updating me, keeping me in the loop, I got two very good products a little bit late. Keep in mind, I would never buy from Mazsport Scott, and if I was told he was going to be making the products, chances are I would not have bought them in the first place. End of story.
Patience is bliss with online ordering.
I'll still do business with Brice if he's got something I need

How many custom, in-house products have you gotten from him? I didn't think so.
You are not us. You are not in a position to generalize.
Tubing: if I hired Bernie Madoff to work for me, would you do business with my financial firm because he never cheated YOU?
You don't have to answer, just ponder that.
Also, wasn't Fluid going to be the exclusive distributor for Hymee's SC. How'd that work out?
Nevermind, that's a topic for a different discussion.
