What happened to patience. It seems like everybody wanted there parts yesterday even though they only ordered them today. Every company will have some unhappy customers. You can not please everyone.

this isn't about waiting for parts, this isnt about promising a date and not following up. This is about Brice lying, then lying some more to cover it up, lying again when it was coming out, then fessing up when told to either tell the truth or get kicked off the boards.

Oh if it was that simple

This is and will always be about witch hunts and people ...and in the end money

And people with unrealistic expectations...and poor reality checks

But WTF do I know

19 pages of bitching. lame.
Just don't buy from him. I won't do that but the haters easily could and stop the fussing. Maybe start to flame RR on public dial-up Bulletin Board Systems, be about as effective as a page 20/

most of the tags for every thread in this forum are useless, OT, misleading, or otherwise just plain bullshit

Nearly all of the posted in this thread (recently) have nothing at all to do with the situation, their personality disorders just want them to scream from the highest mountain, they just want to be "involved."

In reality this story starts before they even joined this forum, but they will continue to pummel us with useless posts, backdoor threats, and self motivating banter. You're joining the food fight after the teachers already broke it up, so give it up.

I have withheld commenting on this thread as I don't usually pot stir too much. But I guess since it is just becoming full of fail I will share my thoughts. I see both sides of this argument and can actually find agreement with most of the posts. I don't agree at all with the sneaky work relationship w/ Scott, the misdirection, and outright lies we have all been told by Brice. It has made me alter my thoughts on him and his business.
That being said, I have bought several things from Race Roots and never had any problems. Brice has gone above and beyond in dealing w/ me on a few things and it is greatly appreciated. We have all made mistakes in our lives, some more terrible than others, and I think that coming clean (whatever the reason) and putting it out there deserves some respect. It is never easy to admit our faults and have them picked apart by people who have very little invested in our lives. I have found Brice to always be a likable person and willing to deal w/ those that are willing to deal w/ him. I don't want to be part of anything that wrecks anyones life just because a few people had to wait for an extra week or two for a car part. I may have missed something, but in all the whining in this thread it seems like (unlike with Mazsport) the people did eventually get their part or a refund.
It is always easy for those who don't have to do it to "armchair quarterback" the decisions made by others and look like internet superheros. Brice is doing business in a way that a lot of companies do business now. It doesn't make it right, nor does it make it wrong, it just makes it what it is now. Some businesses (BHR) buck the trend and provide over the top customer service and I really hope others will see how well this works and model themselves likewise. I also really hope Brice will conduct himself and his company in a better manner so his company can stay in business. As a car community we are a small niche group and it is going to be getting smaller as the car is phased out, I hope we can keep as many vendors going as possible.
Well that was a little longer than I intended but it is how I feel on the subject. I am sure some will quote select parts of this and put their "unique" spin on it, but rest assured it won't change my mind nor will I feel a need to defend my thoughts.

You can always shoot me a pm and let me know what you were interested in getting, typically I am very easy to work with and do my best to get orders shipped out ASAP.

This thread has done good. Some like it, some don't. Either way it's here to stay. We all have our opinions. There is no problem agreeing to disagree.

I ordered a CF oil catch can, CF hood dampers and Oil Relocation Kit. Since I'm based out in South America, I had a middle man company "Rapid Imports" order it for me. Can you check if you have an order from them ? Thnks. Much appreciated, brice.

I second this. Brice is THE best rep I've ever dealt with. Very understanding, and thorough. Thanks for going the extra mile for me Brice.

No sir, I have no orders for those specific items pending or paid for. Nor has any company emailed me named "Rapid Imports" inquiring about an order like that. I looked back all the way to May 30th to look thru orders and nothing.

For your reference I have all 3 in stock currently so whenever they or you place the order I can ship it out.

Thanks

Brice
