I bought a stock cat from him, he was quick to reply, item was received and all well for now, but can't really check the item yet as I'm waiting to get it overseas (using my own courier for big items from US to Europe).

He should be charged with criminal record.

Don't forget he took my $130 too.

Paypal should see that when 3 of his transactions are being questioned within a couple days that something is up.

Paypal is not a sure bet you will get your money back. It happened to me years ago and the guy didn't have the money in his account so I had to take matters into my own hands.

Yeah Luckily it didn't come to that and I was actually paid more than was taken by the dudes father. But I was getting my money one way or another ( I was young and broke and I had been saving that money for 6 months).

dsire - this Myztiq character is a serious ******* tool.
5 seconds on one of this threads and you would've found out for yourself.
Always get names and working phone numbers before you send money.
The ONLY thing good about this situation is that you used PayPal.
From now on, do some research about the person selling you parts.
Type their name into the thread search tool and read up.
Get their phone number and CALL them - people are much less likely to flake that way.
And YES, find everyone who has ever been screwed by him and file charges for INTERNET FRAUD.

It's official, now I've been scammed:

"After careful review, we have concluded our investigation of the Buyer Complaint described below.

We have decided in your favor, however, we were unable to recover any funds from the seller's account. As stated in the PayPal User Agreement, recovery of funds associated with a Buyer Complaint cannot be guaranteed.

Please know that we will make our best effort to recover the funds in question if they become available in the seller's account in the future and will take appropriate action against the seller. Such action may include issuing a warning, a temporary restriction, or terminating the account. Keep in mind that PayPal uses a number of factors to determine when to take action, including member complaints. Due to privacy laws, we cannot discuss the details of any action taken. We hope you understand our policy and that it assures you that you are safe using PayPal."

He got the PayPal e-mail, emptied his bank account and walked away with my money.

Ok, I got screwed. He's lucky im not in TX...I'd go get my money myself.

I thought earlier in the thread someone said that he was a decent guy and did send out the product... maybe you should PM who ever that was and get an address of this dude. Just to stop in and talk with his parents. . . hehehe

I'm trying to find a home phone number so I can talk to his parents. He's only 19 or 20, I found his facebook page, and he's got an ugly girl in the picture with him. I do have two phone numbers for him though, one of them comes to a land line via whitepages reverse lookup.

Hmm... is it worth it to drive to his house over 100 bucks? 500 bucks? 800 bucks total?

I really would make it a point to stop by the house. With the police, of course.
