The Syncro Saver...He bought it March 12th, he has been having difficulty installing it ever since but decides to contact me April 10th.

The Best part is he says he talked to someone on RX-8 club asking for troubleshooting, But I never talked to him.

I should post the emails.

I already sent him an RMA order I don't know why he is posting this but each his own.

The only thing that bothered me was that he was never open to any assistance, he only had one thing in mind, every time I tried to help his reply message always resulted in I want my money back and began threatening me.

Go Figure.

if your RMA was indeed cancelled due to your 'comments here', that's pretty weak.

Although, you were technically in an uphill battle from the start since I just grabbed this off Fluid's website. The part in red is what kills you...
Items may be returned within 30 days of purchase. Please e-mail rma@fluidmotorsports.com with your order number, the item you would like to return and the reason you would like to return it. Once we review your RMA request, we will issue you an RMA number and authorize you to return.

You will be responsible for the cost of shipping to return it to us.

All items must be unused, or test fitted only. We cannot accept any item that has been used, or improperly installed. There is a 25% restocking fee on all items.

The reason for canceling the RMA was becasue of his threats against myself and Fluid Motorsports, usually when we bend over backwards and take a product back we really shouldn't be threatened after offering to take it back.

I don't know maybe that is just me.

I tend to help people with an open mind and who are willing to work with us.

Brice: I figured there was more to the story. Making threats is never going to help one's cause.
Besides, sounds like you guys were already making an exception for the OP.

Can't please them all I guess.

are you talking about the "Lance" guy? If so, difference is he insulted a Mod.
Besides, there's fine print to that rule...
In order to ban a member for speaking out against a vendor, that vendor must also have been banned at some point in the past. (and we all know MM has taken a few 'mini-vacations' )

back on topic...

I'm gunna play a little bit of Devils Advocate over here, just because I kinda feel like we're getting only part of the story from both sides....

GR8T8: You said you put it in and you heard whinning and experienced grinding, but did you ever ask if that was to be expected? Exactly how long did you wait before you sent/received E-Mails (can you show logs)? What is the condition of the synchro saver after installation? What directions did you follow to install it? Was ther problem, perhaps, due to an installation error?

Fluid: You said he only wanted a refund back, but if he is claiming the product did not work as advertised, was he wrong to ask? Did you help to try and diagnose the problem with the synchro saver (is his case unique)? You said he threatened you, but be more specific; did he threaten your well being, your reputation, or simply to post this thread, because a threat is nothing to take likely and the same goes for accusing someone of a threat. It could be considered a bannable offense.

Now, I really don't want to see/instigate another huge bad guy thread, but I would like to see some resolution. Make it simple guys, it seems like posting E-Mails to support your case would be much more believeable than making accusations and having people subjectively pick sides....just post up the hard facts, and let's get this fixed.

The syncro saver is dead simple to install......but a bit more difficult to adjust it so it works perfectly I think the OP needed help to install it properly....

Sounds like he had a difficult time, and broke the console cover as well......

Can't blame Fluid for that......

There is a good possibility that happened, but the way the thread is going, we will never know because these threads always end up as a "mud slinging" contest and strays from resolution.

....it sucks

They way he came across in the emails was that he was having installations issues, at the point he contacted me he didn't want to hear it and just wanted his money back.

Like Dan said it is really simple to install the challenge is fine tuning it.

No one is here to ban you, I don't wish to, I am here to help.

Willing to accept that help is another story, if you feel you can have no use of the Syncro Saver I might suggest selling it in the Private FS section, I am sure people will buy it at a reduced price.

Is there a 'law' against questioning vendors? MM gets them all the time.

fyi fluid has ZERO control over the posts in this thread... you are confused. only a mod or OP has power to remove posts here, and that's not something they would throw out.
