As far as thread deletions go, I've had nothing to do with that. Anyone that is even remotely paying attention realizes that isn't my MO. I take the good with the bad. Even ulcer-inducing threads like this one have a purpose in the grand scheme of things that I recognize and accept.

BTW - The kits that have moved around over the past year were all used kits changing hands. I have no involvement in that. In the "heyday" of this upgrade (the end of 2008 to the Spring of 2009), I made and moved quite a few kits, prior to the onset of this complete disaster.

As I've stated before, those that have outstanding orders for kits will get their kits. I realize that it isn't even remotely timely, but that will be the end result.

It has been suggested that I ship the kits in their present state (pic below) and allow the end-user to finish the fabrication. If this were a viable possibility, I'd consider it, but I don't believe that those who are requesting such an option understand what is involved to accomplish this.
The status of the kits are not being hobbled by financial issues (at least not directly). This is a physical issue.

In any event, you guys keep doing whatever you feel is necessary to assuage your fears, affect a result and/or satisfy your egos and I'll keep doing what I need to do to fulfill my own.

OMG my kit is about to be finished !!!

Jeff tell me that one of four is for France!!!

My assumption would be it's an issue having the housings machined to fit Jeff's custom super-secret-special-sauce turbo that is not but may be partially kinda similar to a GT3071R but definitely is not... maybe... except on sundays, not applicable in regions including but not limited to paved areas ending in "road", "street", "court" or "parkway" between the hours of 7 PM and 6:59 PM.

But you know what they say about assuming...

Having met Jeff quite a while ago, I can attest to his character and I'm sure everyone will be taken care of as soon as he can.

^^Agreed, Though we all(including myself) have, and have shown, our own opinion, assumptions, etc. All of this is due to a lack of information on our parts. And reality is that is Jeff and his customers business.

For sure, but generally these threads turn almost immediately into opinion threads from people who have formed their opinions entirely on impressions and views made entirely from the third person and anecdotal "evidence" at best.

Czar, I realize you are excited to receive your kits. But checking your address is, I think, premature. I am not trying to stir the pot, but I dont read Jeff's post as saying that the kits are right now any more ready for delivery than they were last spring. They are still torn apart and unmodified and there is no mention that the issue that stops them from being put back together is any more resolved now than before.

Perhaps but since i never got a response back via email, trying to get a confirmation before 2000$ of product is shipped to some one else is all I can do at this moment, I dont even own a rx8 anymore and more worried of more potential headache of dealing with a lost package. More likely to instantly sell it as soon as I get it with my greddy kit laying against the wall to pay for brake upgrades and track time in the FD.

There are different classes of vendors. You pay a different price for an increase in status. With the activity that occurs on their threads, do you think they need to upgrade?

Wow, nice and mature...exactly the type of response one would hope to see from the leadership of a forum.

MAKE PUBLIC THREAD ON INTERNET FORUM

DISCOURAGE RESPONSES FROM PUBLIC

Besides, my last response had nothing to do with you nor was it directed at you. And if you look above, my wondering about where the first thread went was posted BEFORE you revealed that you were the one who had it deleted. (I wasn't aware users could delete their own threads on this forum anyway, so I never entertained that possibility prior).

Don't worry, I'm not on some crusade fighting for justice for you. I'm simply pointing out the inequities of how things seem to be handled at times, calling a spade a spade if you will.
