^^That explains it!! I never saw those pics till now. So, just imagine some amateur (prob himself) whipping up a bunch of bondo with fiberglass strips, slapping them all over the cracks, then slapping another layer of bondo on top of that, NOT sanding it out smooth and spraying it with black primer. It looks like the nose has a bad case of acne, bumps and uneven spots everywhere. The bigger cracks werent even filled its....its just a disaster. There looks to be an attempt to fix it but it still looks horrid. Do you really believe i would have bought that thing after it was in that bad of shape at one time??? Hell no. Thats not even worth headache of even attempting to repair it. I didnt expect it to be spot on perfection (cuz most kits need SOME work), but i wasnt expecting to get a second hand, wrecked, half *** repaired bumper thats fo sho.

See i NEVER knew it was damaged in the first place. He never mentioned at any point that it had once been damaged or that he had work done to it. He acted as if it were all ship shape and that I was one step ahead because it was already primered black, which i figured would work out for me cuz i have dark color (Nordic G). I even asked about the fitment and he said he had it on his car for a little bit to see how it looked, it fit fine, and then he decided to get ED bumper due to not liking the look of the Vielside. No freakin way he had that on his car. That right corner is also still broke off. I dont see how well he could have mounted that thing.

I was totally mislead from the jump. Not that im surprised, now that we have seen what this kid is capable of, but damn. You should see the pics he sent of it, you cant tell as he angles it certain ways and shoots from just far enough away to hide the flaws. It IS a lil hard to spot with camera shots from 5+ feet away (which is at least where u need to be to fit most of bumper in pic), but as you will see when i get around to taking pics, from the correct angles and distance, its quite obvious. Plus he didnt show the busted right corner in any pics.

^^Exactly. He slapped a bunch of bondo on it, put a coat of black primer, and shot pics that showed it from distance hiding the flaws. LOL, this is all so f%$#@d up you cant help but to chuckle a little. If he thinks im gonna let this go he is sorely, sorely mistaken.

I just read this thread and omfg.. this is some seriously messed up shyt.

Selling a damaged bumber that you got for free is yeah.. that takes some ***** and some major stupidity.

Since Brian hasnt come on here to defend himself and tell his full side I guess he's ran outa here quick. Shame he used a "accident" to con us to give himself some time and hopefully a way out. But then again with a aparent weapons charge looming he has more to worry about than this (no offence guys). Since he's a EMT he'll be blackballed after this charged dropped or not.

Has anyone looked into any possible small claims civil suit? If you have enough evidence maybe you can atleast get a judgement against him and it will stay on his credit record for a long damn time. Will suck when he goes to buy a new car or a house. That will pop up and yeah DENIED!

You didnt send me anything. Appreciate the generosity, PM me with details and it may be an option. Main reason i bought this one was cuz it was authentic. I know all too well the perils ($$$) of getting a poorly made replica to fit. I may just try to get an OEM front from someone and get it repainted and put on.

Sorry to read about your shitty luck w/ the front end. Like I said, I have a replica veilside you are welcome to have for free if you take care of shipping. It is just too big for a novice packager like myself to deal with. I know it sounds like a common story but I bought the kit and decided it was just not what I wanted. I am going w/ a carbon fiber front and have no use for this. It has not been touched, so it is just as I got it. Never been fitted, never been checked on the car. There are no real problems w/ it that I can see, but you are welcome to see for yourself. Since I know of your last problems please ask for the pictures and I will send you any angle any close up you want. I also have the sides and the rear but that will cost $100.00 as I have interest in the sides. The rear has been banged up a little and would need some work but you are welcome to it if you want. As I said, I really have no use for it and it is taking up space in the garage. Since you seem to have a deal on shipping I thought you could get this one cheap and see if it works for you. If not, do with it as you wish. I do live in Indianapolis, IN close to the airport so dropping it off somewhere is not a problem at all. Let me know and you are welcome to it!
