My 8 is worth about $4k as a rollin chassis. I got offered a 96 miata as trade. Is it worth $4k?

It now has white face gauges and the stock polished wheels on it with new tires.

Engine gone on your 8?

 

It might be just flooded. I just have lost interest in the car. It was doing the hot start problem, and when I checked the compression myself with a rental tool kit from Oriely's the forward rotor only read 60psi. It's been sitting since late June and I don't want to put the effort into it. I want a track bike instead.

 

New motor, top, and wheels? Sounds pretty good to me for the price. Miata's are awesome handling cars as well. Just make sure you can fit! (tall-wise)

i say no. you can get a better deal with 4k. look for one with a hard top. hes probably sitting on raceland or rokkor coilovers. those are utter ****.
