Worse Mazda market share in NA over 20 years!
Well it does not get any better for Mazda in North America (USA), in 2017 a pathetic market share of only 1.6%, their worse performance in 20 years Mazda's slide in the US has continued over this time..
Seriously I am really doubting the abilities of everyone in Management at MNAO, I know they wont discount and I know they are pushing 'Mazda premium' which is working everywhere else except US.
Moro has to start splitting heads and sacking all poor performers as this is just unacceptable.
Say this again for US Mazda NEEDS an entry level car with power!
And the new 2018 Mazda 6 2.5T is NOT entry level.
Amazing CX-5 production is up 45%.
Mazda worldwide in 2017 made almost 1.5 Mil cars, a small record, up I think 0.7%
Sedan car production are down about 30-38% (Mazda3 and 6).
Below link from MNAO, does not mention ALL what I said above sources are elsewhere.

Any ideas what Mazda should do in USA.

There is a topic here about Camry 3.0 , i have already expressed my opinion there.
Mazda in US need to change the game, and stop competing with Honda/Toyota and Koreans Brand.
upmarket , more "niche models" and SUV/CUV as hell, new bread and butter are SUV/CUV

Mazda has also been pissing off so many owners and new car buyers over Car Play and Android Auto, Mazda have been promising and 'coming' since 2015 and still nothing...it can be a deal breaker.
I don't even think it is in Mazda (MZD) Connect Version II out in 2019.

good point.
no AWD sedans, and Mr.Moro says there are technical problems, but a wagon diesel AWD version is sold in Europe.
in US there are no really powerful engines for 6 (except the new 2.5 turbo)
but at the end of the day my opinion is that Mazda can't compete with US made Honda and Toyota, in sedan market.
SUVs are doing well, so, let's make more models and with a focus on performances.
CX-9 (the most expensive car of line up) is selling at the same level of 6. this means something IMHO.

Sedans are down, period. They do need to focus on SUV's as they are where the money is now. They should bring the 2.5T to the CX-5. They should push out the Mazda 6 and 3 with a 2.5T and AWD.
