changes over the years

I am looking to see if anyone knows of the different changes Mazda has done to the RX8 over the years. Before everyone starts to light the torches to flame me, I am looking for technical changes; not colors, options, keys... For example, there is another thread that talks about the 06 getting a different rebreather and I know they added a screen for the A/C cooler last year. So what other changes has Mazda done quietly to improve the 8?

I believe the Shinka edition has some additional chassis "stiffening" &/or sound control modifications done by injection of foam into the cross members.

In 2005 they started making the window washer tank out of white plastic instead of black.
I also think the 2006 do not have the gunk on the dipstick issue.

Check the TSBs for some of the more significant changes. For example, there was an early change to the oil pan baffles, etc. etc.

Another "guess" on changes, based on TSB's, reported problem areas etc., would be:

1. Perhaps running update to the starters &/or battery to solve some of the cold cranking, slow cranking & susquent start/flood issues on earlier MY cars. I know Mazda replaced my starter with, or so I was told, a slightly stronger version to address "slow" spin-up, slow start issue.

2. ? ok Bueler, or expo1 other??

Your correct about the starter and battery. The battery was 350 CCA and now is a 650. Spark plugs and brake pads are also not the same as the early 2004's

Thanks for the info, I figured one of you rotary gurus would know how the 8 has evolved over the years. Looking at the TSB's was a great idea.
