When it rains...it pours!!
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20100702/..._toyota_recall
I realize 270,000 cars isn't really that many, but i just find it funny that their cars will either accelerate uncontrollably or stall-out mid-driving! Come on, pick one!!

From article:

From article:
Flaws in valve springs, a crucial engine component, could make the vehicle stall while it's moving

"Another comment directed to all of you "Toyota Weenies".....300,000 people in the United States building Fords in 31 plants plus Ford building in Mexico, Europe and South America...an AMERICAN company competing in a global market, building a quality American engineered and designed product (Consumer Reports, JD Power, IIHS, Wards, on and on). Note that I didn't mention Ford building anything in Japan, that's because the Japs won't allow it. Also, Ford has not taken a penny of your tax dollars. When the U.S. had the "Cash for Clunkers" program, we let all manufacturers participate. Then the Japs had the same program and guess what...They excluded American manufacturers from eligibility.Toyota lied and continues to lie about how long they knew of the recall issues. So, Weenies, go ahead and keep your heads where the sun doesn't shine.....oh, and while you're at it, google "Pearl Harbor, Sep 7th, 1941."
