Got this car when I was 15. Dad gave her to me as a gift when I got my Eagle Scout. I drove her for nine years though high school and college. I truly miss her, but maybe I miss the good times I had when she was around. The (not) funny thing about her was when people wanted to race my muscle-car body because she only had a 225 cid slant six. Not much go power.

'91 Mercury Cougar LS

The first car I bought with my own cash. Got her used in '95 and ran her for almost three years. When the head gasket blew (common problem I found out later), I was going to get her repaired but the Ford dealership gave me a great trade in value on the next vehicle.

'99 Ford Ranger XLT

Not a bad truck. Got me where I was going. The only significant thing is it was the first vehicle I bought new. Ran great and never let me down mechanically, but no soul. That's why one day I was thinking about buying a car and happened to drive by the Mazda dealerhip...

'04 Mazda RX-8

Oh dear God I love this car. Bought her the day after Thanksgiving 2003 and have had this stupid grin on my face ever since.

1998 VW GTI VR6. I still miss it sometimes but I appreciate the fact that the doors in my 8 open when its cold out, oh, and its fun to drive too.

When my leased 2002 Miata came due, I traded my 2000 Intrepid R/T in on the Rx8. It has been 1 year and I haven't regretted once. Well maybe one time..... last March when a late snow storm dumped 8 inches and I had summer tires on!
This year I have snows and the world is good!

my previous car was a 1998 volkswagen jetta glx. It was a nice car but had a ton of problems with it; window regulators, ignition coil pack, e-brake line, pwr locks, the list goes on. My first and last VW.
