5 cars in 22 years
'71 VW Karmann Ghia - had a black fiberglass nose that tilted forward to get to the fuel filler.
'71 Volvo 142 - lowered, blacked-out chrome & cammed. Still slow as sh-t, awesome brakes.
'76 Mercury Capri - yellow/tan/sunroof. Loved that car.
'91 Ford Probe GT - 1st new car, turbo kicking in is way cool except in turns.
'04 RX-8 - I'm in lust! :D
^^^The McLaren looks like a Mercedes. (found it: Mercedes SLR McLaren)

I used to have a pearl white '96 Mitsubishi 3000GT SL. It was nice and speedy and had great responsiveness for front-wheel drive. Had to trade it in because it started leaking oil into the combustion chamber and screwing up the smog tests.
I love my RX-8, but I miss that car.

Wow, nice rides.
Does anyone that went from a WRX/STi or a Turbo'd vehicle ever yearn or wish they hadn't left their previous vehicle or is the 8 just so complete it has never crossed your mind?

I know of one person that went from a WRX to the RX-8 then turned around and got an STi because he missed his turbo and wanted more power, but I can't think of anyone that has given up an STi for an RX-8. There are some guys here that have gone from WRX to RX-8 so maybe they will chime in, so far all of them seem happy with the RX-8 and don't seem to have any regrets.

In order of most recent:
'99 Volvo S80 - bought it with 25k miles, beautiful, refined, solid, luxurious, superb audio system, nice sounds from the inline-6, ultimately very boring.
'95 GMC Jimmy - sort of a temporary car, it was a hand me down from my father that I drove for 11 months. It sucked *****.
'99 Chevrolet Blazer - although not exactly sporting, I leased it and got it brand new. It was a beautiful truck that served its purpose (jamming friends in and going bar hopping). I was said to let it go and I should have bought the damn thing.
'95 Chevrolet Z-28 six-speed - my first car was a screamer! I absolutely loved this thing and it kind of defined me in high school and the next couple of years. Ultimately it got me into too much trouble, and I traded it in for my Blazer in 99. This car was a joy to drive as I'm sure you guys can agree... six speed Borg Warner tranny from a Viper, LT1 V8 from a Vette. It was very unrefined, but so is a sawed off shotgun. I had intake, exhaust, headers, Hypertech power programmer. Unlike our 8, these mods really delivered... I had about 350HP and 380FT-Lbs of torque. Black with tan cloth, no CD player! haha I used to spank everyone short of exotics! Sigh, the good old days...
Current: Black with Black/Chaparral six-speed! Loving it!

I still own the 1990 Nissan pickup and 2002 Explorer. Since the pickup was my daily driver, I guess you could say that was my last vehicle before I bought the 8. Quite a change
