Wow you had a ZX2 :P Glad I'm not the only one hehe
I had a 2000 Ford ZX2 S/R, the S/R was a special limited edition of the ZX2, only 2000 were built and there were only 35 in Canada and I had one.

I also bought a 93 Ford Escort as a winter car, it lasted litteraly 2 weeks, the brake lines blew up and I decided to scrap the car (the unibody was all rusted out, I probably wouldn't survive an accident in this car).
So I used the ZX2 for this winter, but it was dropped and driving it in the winter wasnt really fun. I kept getting exhaust tickets because I had no cat, but the stock exhaust on the S/R was from Borla so cops always thought I had an aftermarket exhaust.

Then I got the 05 RX-8 GT and sold the ZX2. Later on bought a Subaru Legacy as my winter car. It's much more fun than the escort (duh!) and its much stronger too.

yeah my zx2 wasn't much 2 drive but it looked pretty decent (for an escort)... i tried 2 keep it clean, jus some 18" ICW Omega's and a drop, and a cold air/cat back combo... didn't wanna drop 2 much n2 it seeing as it had no potential but still wanted it 2 be fun while i owned it. but now im lucky to say i went from ZX2 TO RX8!!!!!!!!!!

I really wish I could have kept both. I do miss the gas mileage and the lower payments, and the fact that I was pretty much done modding it. Oh well, on to bigger and better things

I jumped on board from a 05 S2000. I had been debating between the 2 back in 06. I ended up getting the S2k at that time. It is a great car. Nice power band when driven properly. Solid handling. Very easy to drive, but only a few are lucky enough to rive this car at it's limits without it biting them back. Loved everything about the car except for the fact that it was a 2 seater. I thought at first I could live withit being my only car, but as a DD and an only car, it wasn't very practical. So I ended up selling that car. Had 42 miles when I got it, and sold it with 16,200 miles. Owned it for a little over a year. Very sad to have seen it go. Thats when I was in the market for an 8. It just so happened that one of my friends were selling their 05 WWP. I snaped that deal up in a heartbeat. It's actually Whitehot's old one. Loving the car so far. Similar handling as the S2k, but a little lacking in power in comparison. But for 4 seats and more storage space i'll make a little sacrifice. Sorry for the long post. =)

2004 Mazda Rx-8 about a week ago. My favorite car yet.

Definitly buy the 8. but i have to tell you the S2000 is a sweet car.

Thumbs up

I sold my two project cars in an effort to tighten up my finances:

93 240sx SE Sileighty Restomod/Conversion:

07 Mazdaspeed 6 Sport:

Sold those in exchange for this:

When the journalists say the RX8 is a "drivers car" they really meant it. Despite being slower than the other two cars I owned, I'm having more fun in the RX8. Can't wait to track it. :D
