I miss my Focus, it was a hoot on mountain roads. Also, I could go to Home Depot and buy stuff and it actually fit in the car.

-Before that was a 1984 Camry....that thing could jump like a champ!
-Had a 1972 beetle that got restored....it was very blah.
-Also had a Kawasaki Ninja 250. I sometimes got 75 MPG!

Coming off trucks

For the last 16 years I have been driving Ford Pickups, I had a used 87 ranger from about 1991 through 1997when it died completely, then I bought a new F-150, it is about 10 now, and is starting to become a little unreliable so I went did some shopping and bought myself and 8 a week and a half ago. I drove my F150 the other day, man it feels like driving a feeble dump-truck, it's a shame, it has been a really good truck, I hate to disrespect her like that but wow the difference is night and day.

All of my previous cars:

1991 Pontiac LeMans
1993 Pontiac Grand Am GT
1999 Pontiac Firebird

Sensing a theme here? I didn't pick out the LeMans...It was my first car, and I truly think that "LeMans" is French for "lemon" because nothing worked on that car. Traded it for the Grand Am. LOVED that car, but I had to keep a case of oil in the trunk. We never knew what was wrong with it, but tracked down the previous owner and realized that's why he got rid of it.

Then came the Firebird. I loved that car SO much. Black, tan leather, premium sound, all the options. It was beautiful. I was a car moron and didn't know how to treat it, and it went downhill. I'd love to have the car back and do it all over again (but CORRECTLY this time). I miss my car. My brother had a 1995 Firebird, so it was cool that we had the same car.

I've always had Pontiacs, and I kinda wanted to try something else this time, just to see if I could have better luck. I loved the Solstice, though. (I briefly thought I might want a Scion tC, but two seconds into the test drive, I was ready to get out of the car.) We were going to look at a Solstice, but on the way, randomly pulled into one of the Mazda dealerships in Little Rock (Crain...DON'T GO THERE!!). They came out and said something about giving "KRAZEE DEELS," so five hours later, I had my car. We didn't get out of there until 11:30pm. haha

Four days later, my brother showed up with his 2006 RX-8. Guess we're meant to have twin cars. (See sig)

I still miss my Firebird, though.

The full list is longer than anyone would care to read but includes a '71 240Z, a 1st generation MR2, a couple of Civic SIs, a Sentra SER (when that was the top model), most recently a 2001 Acura TL & I'm selling my 2004 Mazda 6 wagon (which has been more fun than a wagon has any right to be). I'm getting back my old (1994?) VW Golf for runs to the lumberyard, etc.

I ride this car hard, well, as hard as I can that is. Until the one night I pulled out of the Sheetz (Big gas chain here), floored it trying to catch up to a friend's ford pickup - it didn't, refused to and when it redlined the engine light turned on and it's been on for over a year. It's frustrating to hear the car refuse to go any faster, It doesn't have a rpm-meter (I honestly don't know what it's called) so all I have to rely on is the feel and sound of the car.

My original Toyota Carolla was totalled, so I had to get this used thing for A to B driving. It gets pretty good mpg and it's one tough little car for putting up with me pushing it as hard as I do. I guess I'm doing something right though.

They built some building on the ground where this was taken so I haven't really found a nice out of the way place to take nice pictures. I don't have a RX8, but this'll be the car before it if I have my way. I've logged 197k miles on this tough little car, but from reading these forums a couple times in the past and having the urgancy to keep this car working, I've been trying to baby this car in practice and hopes that some day I'll be able to get a rx8 like the one I created in my mind in the signature.

This is my "Hello" thread I suppose, heh.

I'm not one for flashy colors, or ear-breaking steros or exhasts that make the earth shake. The signature car is my perfect car, Purple reminds me of UV bulbs I have in my room and the affect of the UV has on the surrounding areas to transform colors wows me. I like a car that's beautiful, somewhat poetic, and has that 'joie de vivre'. A eye catching look that's not an eye sore, that's what I like.

I've done a lot of Computer modifications, and work a few web designs whenever the chance passes by so I'm not new at creativity. I don't know much about cars, and I don't even know how to drive a manual transmission. So all my questions about cars aren't sarcastic.
