My very first vehicle I only owned for 2 months because I received a major football injury and had to sell it for medical bills and it wasn't practical anymore. It was a 1974 Chevrolet Cheyenne half ton Camper Special with an 8 foot bed, 350 SB, 4x4 with lockers, 4" lift, 38" tires, super redneck, straight pipes, etc...
The next car I actually owned for a length of time was a 1988 NA RX-7, white, 5-speed, came with Recaro buckets, put in a custom Pioneer system, Apexi exhaust, Koyo rad, short throw shifter (Can't remember brand), loved that car to death. Regret selling that car. Had over 102,000 miles when I bought it and trucked to 142,000+ miles until I sold it, never had a problem wtih it once.
My next ride was a 1994 RX-7 FD, 5-speed, Montego Blue, PEP package, bought it with 87,000 miles on the chassis and 5000 or so on a rebuilt engine, had rebuilt stock twin turbos, upgraded front-mount intercooler, blowoff valve that was way too loud, Racing Beat exhaust, GReddy electrionic boost controller, and a clutch- I only dumped a few grand in all new electronics for the engine when the harness fried on a hot day, and a few other things. It truely was a money pit, Sold it because it was getting too expensive and I was going to go to college and I didn't want an unreliable car and I didn't have the money to make it reliable. Also hate selling that car....
The next vehicle was a 2005 Suzuki SV650S (semi-crotch rocket bike) I bought new. Did a lot of upgrades including a GSX-R fork conversion, Honda F3 rear wheel (allows you to run a wider rear tire for more traction), GSX-R chain and sprocket conversion, GSX-R 4-piston Brembo brakes, M4 titanium high-mount exhaust, Woodcraft frame sliders, Vertex rearsets, fender eliminator, LED "stealth" turn signals, painted the engine flat black to match the frame, clear lense intergrated tailight (put turn signals and brake light as one), Power Commander, a bunch of other stuff. Got too uncomfortable to ride everyday so I traded it in for a..........
2006 Yamaha V-Star 1100 Custom Midnight edition I got new. Put on saddle bags, Hard Krome pipes, Mikuni carbs, new jets, Warrior dual 4-piston brake calipers, forward controls, PM wheels, custom bars, grips, power kickstand, a few other things. Kinda still have it (long story......)
Next is the 2005 Mazda RX-8 I got. You can see all the stuff I got in my sig. Love the car to death and I won't get rid of it unless it's for another 3rd gen RX-7, a new RX-7 that I am hoping Mazda will make (not holding my breath....) OR for the updated version of the RX-8 in a few years. One of the three.

1984 Chevrolet Cavalier: 1997-2002
1990 Honda Accord: 2002-2005
2000 Ford Focus: 2005-2007
2007 Mazda RX-8: 2007-

The Cavalier was a 4-speed manual sedan, and the only car I've ever pegged the speedometer on (at 85mph). Manual locks, manual windows, broken cruise control and broken A/C. Gave it up when the brake lines rusted through and my dad's mechanic refused to put it on the lift due to all of the rust on the body.

The Accord was a 5-speed manual, manual windows and locks, broken A/C and no cruise control. Had a tach, unlike the cars immediately before and after it. Totalled by a large white SUV (they took about $400 in damage, I took about $5000).

The Focus was purchased in a hurry to replace the Accord, manual windows and locks, no cruise control, but the A/C actually worked. It was the absolute low-end model, with an engine so wimpy they don't even sell it anymore. Couldn't wait to replace it.

The RX-8 is a manual sport with the performance package in stormy blue. It's quite a step up for me.

Whoops, missed your post. I haven't been on the forum much lately.

Nope, I traded the 8 for it. Yeah, it was really nice. I kinda wish I could have had both, it was fun in a different way.

I had a 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT with some goodies. My Spec stage 3 clutch ripped 2 sets of axles out of it before I saved enough cash for the turbo kit for it, but it had a 100 shot of nitrous on it. Never even got to fill the bottle cause I found my 8 first and ripped the kit out of the Eclipse to trade it in...

Went from 0 to POS in 2.2 seconds!

The 8 was a good step up.

2003 Honda Civic...42 mpg if I drove it carefully, 34 mpg even if I pushed the engine a fair bit. Whole different experience, of course--I've had my RX-8 (my first sports car!) for about two weeks and am in love with it, though I'm steeling myself for a doubling in my fuel costs!

Kevko, Dude.... Awesome cars u got there. Is that an F360 hiding under the covers in the pic of that cool Merc 380SLC?

Sooo, ur the owner of that Fantastic Red Bimmer ...Awesome bro.... My Civic was featured in the same issue of Traffic Magazine as ur BMW (ur on the Cover of course )........... And yess... I know that ur Red Bimmer has been featured in a couple of Mags already....Hahahaha....LOL..... wanted to point that out B4 u did.....Hehehehe........ Also, ive bumped into it a couple of times in the Shah Alam/ Bukit Jelutong area sometime last year (or was it the year b4.. )....

Btw, actually i had a few more cars than those listed (all were mine, none of em shared .... I don't even let my Mom 'n' Dad near em.....hehehe)...... The ones that i owned for more than 4 months only made tha list...... Honda Accord just made it coz i only owned that for 5 months.....

Cars not on list...

- 1997 BMW E36 328i (owned for 2 weeks coz i didn't really like it....)
- 1995 Merc C220 (owned for 1 week coz my Mom wanted it )
- used 1992 Merc SL300 (interior quality was CRAP...Very brittle plastics....)
