Just sold my 1999 SLK to get the RX8. The SLK served me well for the last few years, and it was a cool car to drive. But unfortunately the hydraulic roof was starting to crap out on me, and was going to cost major $$$ to fix...

Well, I don't have a RX-8, I drive a FD.
My car before the FD was a 98 BMW M Roadster Euro Spec.
Before that I had several Porsches (914,944,930,911sc).
Before that I had two Mercedes.
and this June I will recieve my new Lotus Elise.

1st car at 18 was a 1976 Lancia Scorpion, 1984 Porsche 944, 1986 Porsche 928 S-4, 1993 Mazda 626, 1997 Mazda Millienia, 1987 Buick Regal Grand National, 1991 Buick Rivera, also a Ford Merkur XR4Ti, german made with two rear wing spoiler. Currently 2004 Toyota Tundra Fairside:D

2002 Ford Lightning. Bought it in Hawaii. After driving it cross country I was sick of it. Traded it when I got to VA. Believe me driving a car for long trips is much better than that truck.

The Mazdas (including the Probe made at the Mazda plant) have never let me down. The Del Sol Vtec was great but lacked air conditioning, which became a must have when I moved to Southern Nevada. The Olds SCX was one of 500 that year, quick, fun, lots of mechanical problems.
