I had a customer come into my store with a rotor that separated like that. We decided to hang it on the wall as a warning.

 

I have never seen that before, how do you let it get that bad without killing someone?

 

I had a friend bring one to my house that the hub had seperated from the disc bit. When he hit the brakes the hub just spun in the middle. He said he thought is was okay because the noise stopped.

 

That just shows the kind of people out there,driving their cars with absolutely no clue or just don't give a **** about anybody but themselves
They could be right behind you tomorrow on your way to work in your nice and shinny well maintained RX8

 

Then you have to fork out the $$$$$$$$ for the deductible

 

surprisingly it didn't kick the pad out, thats the only reason they were able to continue stopping. somebody upstairs was watching out for them and there countless drivers they were in front of them.
