Don't take this the wrong way, I completely against street racing.

 

well at least they were just hondas but being a car guy thats sad. i dont condone street racing but that sux. the first civic in that vid was turboed too

 

 

According to the summary on the YouTube video, those cars were built using stolen parts, which I believe would preclude the police from selling them.

Plus, crushing the cars sends a message that simply selling them wouldn't. And frankly, whoever would have bought them would be likely to also engage in street racing anyways.

This is actually a pretty cool Rx8 as it is a race car but I would not recommend doing that to your daily driver.
