For what car would you trade your 8
#26
Lotus Exige or
95 detamoso pantera or
mint early 70's lt1 corvette or
anniversary edition lambo countach(sp?) or
RUF porche or
high end skyline
All of which would cost me substantially more to get and substantially more to maintain.

I know you guys will think I'm crazy, but sometimes and car and a person just fit...my wife drives a Mercedes SL500 Roadster and I couldn't imagine a nicer car, yet, I wouldn't trade my 8 for it...I love my car...we fit...there's nothing out there I'd trade my RX-8 for...When I was younger I would've said a Corvette, but I've owned one now and it doesn't compare as far as fit and finish and drivability...what can I say...my heart must pump in a rotary fashion

Not much really. Maybe a C6 Corvette convertible when they come out with the 500+ HP model... :D ...but I need the back seat. So maybe an Aston Martin DB7 or Vantage, a BMW M3 or M5, or a a few of the AMG Mercedes models. But really, I don't think I'd be able to give it up for at least a few more years.

Koenigsegg CC8
Take a look at this beautiful worlds fastest production car. Plus I know the president of the US market. His name is Michael Sutteremeyer from Popano Beach Fl. I hope to drive one soon. Or better yet how about this 2005 merecedes SLR Maclaren that I had the honor to enjoy the inside of the $468k supercar. Koenigsegg is worth $500k

Wut da F Y'all lookin' @!
Let's see, the cars I would trade my 8 for! The new Z06, M3, M5, E55, RS6, Evo FQ400, or RX-8 w/turbo or supercharger. Unfortunately or fortunately I cant afford any of the cars that I would trade the 8 for. There are other cars that I would consider but they are too old and I just love having a warranty! I will say if something happens to my 8 there might be a chance that I will be behing the wheel of an Evo (again), STI, or GTO!

Depending on how reliable things stay with the 8 (knock on wood). If the car is reliable then one of the only factors that I'd need to trade would be when we have kids. I definatley don't want a minivan (too emasculating) and SUV's are for suckers with little dinkies.
Soooo I'm thinking Magnum, but then I remember that it's a dodge and say yeeesh.
If the car starts acting up and has all kinds of mechanical problems with the rotary and all, then I duno, M3? Maxima? I like rear wheel drive so comparing an M3 to a Maxima is like comparing apples to ******** (not to mention the quality factor).
Now if I had more money I'd start letting myself seriously get interested in the ford GT (I had a dream about it the other day).
Maybe things will get easier in a couple of years, maybe the car manufacturers will start introducing 'funner' cars for us commoners and then maybe we'll have a nicer choice of cars that puts the enjoyment in driving.

Since we are all dreaming here...
first would be the 911 GT2, in silver.
an alternate would be the Maserati Spyder, stunning when seen in person. My father is trying to justify buying one. I hope he does.
