For what car would you trade your 8
 

I would never trade my RX-8 for any other car unless it was a upgraded version of the RX-8(Turbo, more Hp, etc.) But if I had no extra money, I could only afford one car, or something out of this world made me trade my RX-8, I would have to go with a car Toyota doesn't make any more. 1997 Toyota Twin Turbo Supra. Here are some picks for those not familiar with this beauty. How about you?

A 996 or 997 Porsche, Jaguar XKR/XK8, SL500/600/55/65, or maybe an LS2 Vette. I would have said an FD--but that would have to be in addition to my 8

I'd have to agree with that twin turbo *drool* I'd kill for an SL500 (600...)

a 2005 MIni Cooper s Works 210 hp 1/4 under 14.5 and it aslo handles liek a gocart :D

If I were to trade for something in my affordability range it would be an Acura TSX. I test drove it, a GS35, BMW325 (used), Honda Accord coupe, Volvo S40 and a Toyato Solara. To me, none came close to the RX8 in all around "feel". The TSX was the closest.

Perfectly restored 1979 Datsun 280 Z 2+2 with, say, 5,000 original miles.

By the way, I'd also trade it on this (if it comes to the market)

I gather its the same chassis - Ford badge engineering run amok. Anyone else think so?

3rd Gen RX-7.. otherwise you will have to pry the RX-8 from me when I'm dead.

If I could afford the difference in payment I would put my name on a Lotus Exige. I'd even "settle" for an Elise. ;)

Aiming high aren't we :rolleyes: All jokes aside--S2000 is probably what I'd get if I was in the market for the cheapest/biggest bang for the buck roadster.

I would not, but absolutely will trade it when then 2006 Ford Mustang Shelby Cobra GT 500 rolls off the line. Bye Bye Rx8. (bye Bye pretty much everything)

I would trade my NA 8 for a Turbo/SC 8....the more I think about it, since I need a 2+2, the more I can't think of something else I would want to drive.

Lotus Elise, Renault Clio 24v V6, BMW E36/E46 M3, BMW 330i ZHP, Acura TSX, Lexus IS300...

but I don't have an RX-8 just yet.

I'd trade it for a mint super low mileage RX7 GSL-SE, or an equally pristine 86-87 Corolla GTS.
