Warning: Old tires
Hey all, I just read this article and watched the 20/20 report and thought that it was some good information to pass along. I'm no materials scientist, but I think we all know that the older rubber is the more brittle it gets. I for one will be checking for manufacture dates on all tires I buy from now on.

I seen that posted a little while back somewhere, was actually quite interesting to listen to. I went through the shop at Subaru the next day and checked out the dates on alot of the tires installed on the customers cars, nothing very old lol...
I did find a car with some aftermarket low-pro's who was running 3 tires of the same date and 1 tire that was a few years older than the rest lol

Yeah, I searched and didn't see it here so thought I would put it up. Honestly I don't think it's going to be a prevalent with most of the tires people here would buy as low-pro's don't tend to be stocked as much and move faster. Still something to check for though.
