I was reading about this Milano taxi concept from VW which seems like a nice little electric Taxi idea

and I found this sketch of the interior from the Gallery




Apparently VW thinks that a good number of Taxi Drivers go around with Ganesha on the dash.......

 

If they put the Statue of Liberty on it, would other races say that they were being discriminated on? You'd think no, I'm sure someone would bitch about it

 

It's crap, like the other vehicles from VW. They are going down unless they realize that today, mostly the design sells cars, and not their so called reliability and "cheapnes" (In the top version of VW Polo, you must pay for fog lights, lame). btw, Ford Fiesta is the leader in sales in Europe. Anyway, the concept sucks, and they could never beat India's old Mercedeses which they favorize :D

 

Wow. You do know that VW owns Audi, Bugatti, Bentley, and Lamborghini. So the design argument I don't understand, I see a Audi S5 and it makes me nearly drool. Over history VW reliability has been average at best, maybe you had your first two points reversed. I can think of a ton of cars whose baseline model do not include fog lights, that's nothing new. I do agree with you that the new Fiesta is going to be a great car, its about time we get to see the Euro version in the states, now bring the RS over please.

 

I wouldn't mind riding in this thing. Kind of pimp for a cab.

 

I know that, and sorry, I meant models, that maybe confuses you. Yeah, the S5 looks great, but type in the youtube, audi failure, and you should find a video of broken music player in a 60k $ car. VW is a car made to suit the mass population, and it was cheap. Now it isn't, and for the price they sell them, I would allways buy something else instead, because they offer more. Take a look at the EU Opel Astra, and compre it to Golf VI, without doubt, the Astra looks better, and there are a lot of other examples. If i'm correct, a great move will be done when Ford's cars won't be differentiated between US and EU. Hope you people will get the RS soon
