Top Gear America Revived- Seen Filming On Mulholland Drive
It was revealed a little bit ago that History Channel has revived Top Gear America with new hosts(well 2 new hosts) http://www.autoblog.com/2010/04/21/b...merica-reborn/
Now http://www.autoblog.com/2010/04/28/t...n-mullholland/ it looks like they had themselves a coming out party in the form of a planned leak. a bunch of journalists "stumbled" on the crew filming with several cars - new jag, genesis coupe, mustang and carrera - on Mulholland just as one of the hosts was doing a monologue.
I have to scratch my head and wonder why? With BBC America running real Top Gear I cant say Id watch the America version with these guys. I suppose they will be testing some different vehicles than the original but I cant imagine it will be as fun.
ahh who am i kidding- its a car show. Ill watch it until it really sucks or they put it up against one of my other regulars.

Without James May, Jerremy Clarckson, and Richard Hammond, that show would be pointless to me. You can't replace their sense for humor and all they do on their shows, you just can't.

I thought that until i watched all the Top Gear Australia episodes. At first i thought it was pointless/uninteresting show but then I started to realize it's not BBC Top Gear and the hosts have their own personality, sense of humor and perspective on cars that you start to enjoy with time.
