U.S. Grand Prix F1 Kick-Off Pics

The lone F1 car present...

Start up the band, it's time for a parade!

A few cars showed up to participate in the parade

The F430 was HOT!

The lone American F1 driver Scott Speed showed up and talked to the media...

Then he got to pose with the Grand Prix girls masquerading as Wonder Women

Of course MORE Grand Prix girls

All brought to you of course by Michelin - still trying to shore up their reputation from last year's fiasco!

Michelin suck. Hopefully this year they bring correct tires to the race.

Ferrari needs the help again. 18 points for the Manufacters Championship and 10 points for the Drivers Championship would close things up a little.

Bip the Michelin Man is looking a bit soft. He needs to hang out more with the Grand Prix girls. That ought to firm him right up.

All is too good at Renault. They are due for a engine failure. And I can't wait to see Alonso DNF. Plus I just want the championship to be closer so Shuey and Alonso can battle every race for it.

I posted in the racing forum as well, but is anyone that is going plan on parking in the infield car corral show? I saw the Miata club organized something but nothing for RX8's....they let me just sign up with the Miata's. If anyone else wants to get some free, primetime parking in the infield (guaranteed), and wants to park with some nice cars, then call the Indy ticket office ASAP and say you are with the Miata club.

EDIT: You will obviously have to will call your pass since there is not time to mail anything out!

The Miata club is also doing a downtown cruise on Friday night along with several other car clubs. I already have free parking right on Georgetown road . I didn't realize about the car club cruised until it was too late, we really should have had an RX-8 cruise
