They have a Malibu SS, it's only a matter of time before they do an Aveo SS.

I'm signing up as we speak. This would be awesome.

BOO YA FOR THE ORANGE COUNTY ONE!!!!11!one

My dad is thinking about getting a Z06, but he said he is tired of looking at stuff online and never seeing one in person. Maybe if I get him behind one, he will finally pull the trigger...

Couldn't help but think of you yesterday Rhawb. I passed a red Aveo on 436 that had about six "Fear This" stickers plastered all over it and believe it or not it had a NOS sticker on the back window. It was so funny I laughed out loud.
Unfortunately I couldn't get to my phone quick enough to snap a pic.

Hahahahaha, I have a feeling you may have just found an El Feo driver with a sense of humor. Kind of like the Dodge Caravan Type R I saw at Target a month or two ago. What are those Feos packin now? 85 hp?

The site says you can pay 10 bucks to go for a ride in a Z06 with a pro driver, I didn't see anything about them actually letting you drive a Z06. Looks like most of the driving centers around the Cobalt SS.

"Rev it up". There's a ripoff name and idea if I've ever seen one. At the Mazda Rev it up events, the first year you drove a 6 but elsewhere at the event you had a chance to ride in an RX-8 and Miata with someone else driving. Not sure about the second year when they used the 3 as I wasn't there but I suspect this will be similar. You probably drive a Cobalt but can pay to ride in other cars such as the Z-06.

If I'm not mistaken, I think the Rev It Up name is owned by the company that puts on the events. The car companies simply pay them to host it and coordinate everything. So this should be a whole lot like the old Mazda Rev It Up.

Man, I drove a Z06 and H2 (garbage) as well as a plethora of sport luxury cars from Mercedes, BMW, Caddy, Audi, etc. at an event in Raleigh in 2004. I can't remember the name of it but I didn't have to pay a dime. The only requirement was that drivers had to be 21 with a valid license. My brothers were able to ride with me in all vehicles but the Z06 because an instructor had to come with and obviously it's a 2 seater so......... Anyway, I hope they're holding the event here again sometime soon cause it was super fun.

Yep, this is like the 1st two Mazda Rev It Up events that were put on by AMCI. Now, it's gone to Chevy.

Fastest time against the pro (highest score nationally) wins a new Cobalt.

JCTarheel82, you're thinking of the GM Autoshow in Motion. That was free, but was not a school, nor competition.

I'll be doing the NY one on Saturday... I have to defend my title there.
