It's hilarious when people hurl insults and then end up looking just as stupid.

ok, i dug this **** out of no where, i have almost 11k miles on the car and not a single problem. i went through a spell where i wished i hadnt bought it because i missed the 8, but i got over that. once again i love the car...i am waiting until after december (my wedding) and i am getting the revo chip, the remus exhaust, and the evoms cold air intake, and eventually neuspeed springs. the vwvortex site is pretty cool, i am learning quite a bit about the car. i still visit this site daily

Remus huh? Not Miltek or GHL for quads... else AWE or APR for dual tip? You'll get a bigger bang for your buck if you change the downpipe/cat than just the cat-back.

I have an A3 (link goes to my A3 blog), so our cars are cousins. Since you're in NJ, check out DVAG (http://www.dvagonline.com) for get-togethers in the region.
REVO
EVO-MS intake
Save the springs money, get the Neuspeed rear swaybar first. Makes all the difference for handling.

Glad that you haven't had any problems in 11K miles. I like the new GTI and hope that they turnaround the reliability of their latest batch of cars.
My friend has a 2003 20th Anniv. GTI 1.8T and the plastic water pump went out while he was driving it. The car has 30K miles on it or so. Compared to some issues some RX-8 owners have had, it's bad but not worse than the RX-8.
