I bought some Sabelt's to do the job...

But an old pair of hugo boss slip ons do a better job (ie: thinner sole = more feel and movement)

I've always used Simpsons products. Impact if you didn't know Bill Simpson started up a newer company. but Simpsons products are just as good. Saved my life once. Meets track standards and are reasonably priced. The longest a pair of shoes lasted me was 3 years. The only reason I can't claim longer on any of their products is I had to have the 5 point harness re-weaved after its two year cert expired and my helmet replaced after I took a rock to the face on my bike on the highway. I have never had any problems though with Simpson or Impact products upholding to more than they advertise.

The soles look too thick for those last two shoes to be good driving shoes. You won't have a good feel of the peddles.

Actually that's what I thought at first too about the DC driving shoes, but they're actually quite thin and responsive .. theyre just broader for easier heel toe maneuvers

Not my track/spirited driving shoe, but this is what i wear to work everyday. Very comfortable and work quite well as a driving shoe.

Steve Madden Novo Driving Moc

As for driving shoes, i haven't decided what i want to get yet.
