Tires

I am about to purchase new tires for the first time for my 04 RX8. Any suggestions or any ones to avoid?

I got RE050A pole position in the stock size. Pretty decent tires.
The RE040s were extremely noisy and only had good grip on warm dry roads.

I've only really noticed the noise on concrete sections of the highway. The were fine on asphault at any speed.

If you're happy with mediocrity the more power to you.

Scroll a little further down on the front page C-Los friend. We've got a whole section on tires. Tirerack.com is a sponsor here and offer very good service. Their site also offeres lots of reviews for your to pick what fits you best.

I've had 2 sets of Khumo Ecsta MXs and love em. Great handling, better wear than stock, and way way cheaper.
