Question Is there such a thing?

Brought to you buy the 3-rotor Renesis dreamer...

Let's say this crazy dreamer wanted to stick a LS2 into a A4 (remember, crazy dreamer) because you LOVE the A4's looks, 4 doors would be more family friendly, the S4 is too expensive, 15/21mpg is insulting (for the S4), you would own a pretty unique LSA42 (lol), and mostly (two most expensive) what you would need is the LS2 with tranny.

Keeping in mind that cost would be high for such an outrageous dream and most would say, "get your head out of the clouds" (the nice folks, others harsher...lol)...."there are simply things you could do", etc...

Does anyone no a place that sells cars that for what ever reason has a missing engine? All I'd want is a A4 with full interior and exterior, but I wouldn't need the engine or tranny. Does anyone know of such a place?

I've even thought of getting the V6 A4 (3.1L V6 I think...) AWD and finding a turbo/SC for it or mods that could bring it to 350HP as a simply way to go.

Just dreaming...but I really LOVE the A4's looks (the recent model, the new one is nice also but I like the previous model a bit more "for now") and it would be fun to stick a LS2 in it and call it a day.

LOL...just wondering.

Note: I know I know...I'm not even CLOSE or SKILLED enough to pull it off, but just wondering how impossible this is...or not.

no warranty... unreliable combination of parts not meant to work together.. fitment issues... cant get the car surviced at dealerships... A LOT of custom work invloved... chances are the true cost of ownership will easily exceed the cost of an S4....

Just by a 2.0T A4 and go stage 2 or 3 APR. Stage 2 is good for about 260-270 crank HP(goapr.com)and cost you about two grand. This thing sounds wicked http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BQ0xIdbT9MY

http://www.readytofix.com/Inventory/List_2.htm is the closest I could think of for a rolling chassis of a car.

Just buy one of the supercharger kits for the 3.0 - cheaper and more reliable. This one will put you around 320 hp:

THANKS for the website, the only thing is the 2.0T is the newer A4 (B7 I guess) and not the B6 that I like a tad more. While, the new A4 is growing on me the more I see it. The B6 has a 1.8T that has two turbo kits making 247HP or 340HP at the crank.

I just love the looks and interior/quality of the A4, while I have a WRX budget...lol. Again, I never denied I'm a major dreamer in this regard. What I thought about doing, was keeping my 8 once it's paid and picking up a used A4 to fix up like I want it.

If you know of any other performance for Audi websites let me know, but it's odd no one touches the V6 A4? The B6 came with a 3.1 V6 and the new B7 A4 comes with a 3.2 with a healthy 250HP with AWD.

tilt, thanks for the website...you never know maybe something would show up.

Yes, you are completely right. The more I look into it, the more sense it is to simply mod the stock car instead of drooping a new engine in it.

****AGAIN, I'm dreaming here but I'm having a love affair with the A4 right now****

NICE! Thanks for feeding the dreamer...lol.

A SC on the V6 would be nicer and with some other mods I'll bet you could get even more.
