So if any of you are wondering how the FR-S/BR-Z/GT-86 measures up against our rival here's the video!

 

I've been pretty even with s2000's guess it's cause I have a Driver mod but it's pretty good for 'only' 200hp

 

While this definitely shows which car is faster, I have to question how useful a test is when they're getting times like that. 400m is (VERY slightly) shorter than 1/4 mile and the time for that S2K is around a second slower than what a stock S2K can run. It's clear that the S2K is faster but I'm not so sure that this video really speaks to the full potential of either car.

 

Well just look at it as how much faster the S2000 is pulling away from the the Scion. I wouldn't personally really care about numbers and they both certainly need a driver mod. That's what it basically meant for me, how much more it pulls and the s2000 bogged hard for the launch.

 

Cool race! Should be an rx8, then both of those cars would only see the behind of the rx8...lol

The BRZ is probably a really close competitor to the RX8 in terms of power/acceleration, hopefully not in the handling or sexiness department. It pains me to say it, but I think it's pretty obvious that the s2k is superior than the 8 when it comes to acceleration and overall performance, though it clearly looses in the practicality aspect....

I want to some direct brz - rx8 matchups!! I think the 8 will be better in every way, but it'd be an interesting comparison....

But in all honesty from a roll I stay dead even with s2000's but then again I have an ignition kit and a flywheel so that probably helps! They are better off the line though.

 

Once in a while...wait...ahhhhhh...not exactly sure...i have think about that really really hard...hmmmmmmm...
