Are you Eric's mini me? How much does he pay you to agree with Him? Must be a fortune. I like the disclaimer at the end of your quote.

See that Ike, he just compared the Sti to the Evo and said the Sti is a better car. This once I have to agree with eric (Send me the bribe money). And you thought he was your friend.

I did? I believe I said that the STi has better road manners and that the Evo is a better track car. It's all depending on what you want out of the car. The sentence that you are quoting me on list some of the differences between the STi and the WRX, not the STi and the Evo.

Reading comprehension > you.

You said better suspension , bigger turbo and bulletproof tranny. That's a put down on the Evo in my comprehension. Your saying the Sti is a better car and I agree. Performance #'s do not change build quality. Sti > Evo. Rx8 > Sti and Evo. Why? because I own one and it's mine all mine(paid off).

The Evo has a bigger turbo than the STI and better suspension for track duty. You really need to stay out of general automotive because you have no clue what you're talking about. Rather than paying off your RX-8 you should have put that money towards a real motorcycle.

If you re-read my statements, you will see that I am saying that the STi has a better suspension, bigger turbo, and bulletproof tranny when compared to a WRX (not an Evo).

The rx8 is the porsche of $25-$30k sports cars. The Evo is a econobox. Attach a turbo, it's still an econobox. It's a garbage can on wheels and carries some trash around here. Don't insult my sensitivities and compare my car to to garbage

furthermore, Mazda is a much better brand than mitso. Much more car for the money. Read car and driver. rx8 has worldwide acclaim as a technological marvel. I really do not respect turboed econo cars. They're for kids. Nothing but a civic with a turbo. An econobox tuner. It's for kids. Your not really honest, just ignorant and slanted towards kiddie clown cars.

Sweet! Another lecture from roaddemon! I was hoping the series would continue!
The Porsche of $25K-$30K sports cars! BUWHAHAHAHAHA!!! I guess we can chalk up the 911 as yet another car that roaddemon has never driven. Comparing a MAZDA to a Porsche is laughable.

If you want to talk about "worldwide acclaim", they you will need to talk about the Evo and STi, which, unlike the RX-8, have been around for about 15 years and have a HUGE worldwide following.

Face it, the RX-8 is just another sporty coupe that fits in right along with the Eclipses, Cobalts, GTIs, and Solaras of the world, while the STi and Evo are for real driving enthusiasts and standout head and shoulders above said vehicles.

At your age, you should be buying a BMW M3 or a Porsche Cayman, instead of buying a $25K entry level sport coupe and comparing it to a Porsche.

Looking forward to the next lecture in the series...

The only thing that saves you from me is the legacy sedan, too bad it resembles a 94' accord coop, but i'll let it pass. Rx8 is not comparable to any of the cars you mentioned. The Sti is, and more ity bity fwd turbo cars will follow. You should compare to them and leave the rx8 out of it. Go lord over them with your bigger turbo, awd and stiff suspension crap. I like jap quality. m3's are maintenaince laden. I would sacrifice for a z4. A Legacy would get the job done nicely. But I'll keep my 8 Forever. It has soul.

The Sti forum is thata way >>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Pack up and go. They miss you.

lol i'll agree with you up to there the rx8 isnt anywhere near a cobalt gti or solara, its performance class is much higher, those are FWD cars for christ sake rx8 is a very high performance car, but not everyone knows that because its not a high number getter so it deters the dickless benchracers that read stats all day determining the highest performing car.

Are you really that stupid, or are you trying to play to the crowd? Mazda has as much of a checkered past, if not more so, than Mitsubishi. But who gives a **** anyways really. Is this a thread for Evo, STi and RX-8 owners, or is it a thread for their shareholders.

Funny, that garbage can just beat a Porsche 911 C4 and an Audi RS4 in a comparo in EVO magazine. You calling someone else ignorant is one of the funniest things I've ever seen on this forum. It's truely startling how ignorant you are, and how willing you are to disregard something you've never experienced.

What's that going to do for him? Mazda cars have participated in some rally races but the fact still remains that Mazda has never done much in the world of rally racing.

I'm sure this has been said time and time again regarding this comparison.....so I'll say it again. Why are the STI, EVO & RX8 being compared in performance? I find it hard to believe that anyone truely believes the RX8 is a faster car than the EVO or STI.....conversely, I find it hard to believe that anyone would think an EVO or STI is as nice looking, as nicely appointed, or more comfortable than the RX8. The EVO and STI are true 4-door sedans that have AWD and turbo I4 engines. The RX8 is a sports coupe which is meets the minimum requirements of being a "4-door", it is RWD and has a ultra rare 2-rotor engine. The EVO and STI are cars for people that wanted a streetable WRC car. The RX8 is a unique beauty which really has no equal. We might as well compare a Typhoon to the RX8.....it also has AWD and a turbo.
