It comes from a fellow VW enthusiast with lot's of endorsements. I'm an old dub fan myself having owned a '77 Sirocco, and an '83 Golf GTI Mark I.

The specs:

Curb Weight - 2887lbs
0-60mph - 5.9 seconds
1/4 mile - 14.74s @ 94.2mph
70-0mph - 156ft
Observed Fuel Economy - 26mpg overall
New Price in '02: $22,775

Very nice. Yeah, I was going to ask that though. My mom and sister can't even drive a manual, so I assumed your daughter must be an exception to the rule that chicks don't like cars and all that stuff that goes with them. Sounds like a cool girl. How old is she?

^ Wow, that's a blast from the past. That's for all the comments, well except for one.

The car is Indianapolis, and will get shipped to the wonderful state of Washington this week. Just have to make sure the carrier can handle a lowered car. It's front lip is sitting at 4.5"

If not I'm fairly close to Indy and I'll driver it out there for her

I've always wanted a rich father-in-law.

LOL - when you get as old as me, you have a little extra money saved up. Marilyn Van Derbur was Miss America when I entered the World.

Besides, I only have the one daughter, and this makes me happy. Plus, part of the deal is that I get to drive the car once a month.
